Thinking about my fic parhelion too. I feel a lil bit bad about how long I'm taking to write chapter 3. But I think my thoughts on bill and ford and their relationship to each other has evolved into something so different from what it was when I wrote that fic that I no longer know how to end it anymore

#godsrambles #also the angst of postbetrayal ford slowly accepting that bill never loved him and moving on from that is pain and agony to write about now #whereas before it was like 'delicious angst yippee'#especially now that i think bill DID like ford in his own way even though that did not make him treat ford any less badly #but the story isnt about ford learning bill cared about him in a fucked up way! the story is about ford learning to love and accept himself!#got too invested in both of them and now the idea of ford going 'im better off without him :)' makes me Feel bill's agony #even though bill is very much Not the Key to Fords Happiness like he thinks he is!#without serious levels of character growth bill has No Chance in Hell of being a positive part of fords life ever #and it makes bill so mad that he subconsciously maybe sort of sabotages his own apocalpyse over it
