Trolls ideas I want to write but idk if I'll ever have the energy:

-Hickdory fic where Hickory & John met long before the movies, when John was traveling and Hickory was a bounty hunter. They part ways when Hickory gets tasked with a bounty and John decides to move on with his travels, since Hickory is leaving. They reunite when John is at Pop village after TBT, and Hickory is stopping by to do some trading in Trollstopia and visiting Branch & Poppy. John doesn't recognize Hickory at first, since Hick embraced his country fashion, but they hit it right back off. Cue cute shenanigans and probably Poppy scheming to get them together cause she thinks they're cute.

-Guy Diamond/Floyd (what's the ship name here - fly diamond? Pink diamond? Idk) fic where they met upon their arrival back to Pop village just after TBT. Guy is worried sick over Tiny and is so exhausted from looking for his son that he didn't even change his glitter from his colouring from the wedding. He gets introduced to everyone after a heartfelt reunion with Tiny, and Floyd finds him endlessly endearing for his dedicating and care for his son. Cue Poppy hosting a party, and Guy skipping it to ground his kid, while Floyd is too tired to stay too long, so instead the two spend the evening together. Good slowburn.

-Broppy fic where Branch is the only troll to be rock zombified after World Tour, cause Barb goes to hit Poppy again instead of the other tribe leaders. Poppy stops her, but Branch doesn't turn back to normal and Poppy stays gray/dark after everyone gets their music/colours back because she feels guilty about Branch. Barb tells Branch to listen to Poppy (since he would only listen to Barb) and obey anything she tells him. Poppy takes him back to Pop village to try and figure out a way to get him back to normal. Cue the events of TBT and Poppy helping John Dory find the rest of Brozone in the hopes that it will fix Branch.

Symbolism

I've been working on this on and off since July 2023 and it's my first major digital art! Big shout out to @djjiahn, they helped me figure a few things out that I was stuck on and helped me figure out brushes but mostly let me figure stuff out on my own so I could learn! But without help I definitely would have given up before finishing this!

This is the memory/event that I think of when I think of totk's Zelda, Ganondorf, and Link (respectively), and have had this concept in my mind since I first drew the master sword in TOTK.

Nymphia sighs and shoves her phone under her pillow, rubbing at her eyes. It’s almost two in the morning, and she should probably– definitely, should definitely be asleep. Instead, she’s been lying here awake for the past thirty minutes, counting the shutters on her blinds. (Shutters must not work as well as sheep, clearly, because she’s still awake.)

She can’t remember when texting her best friend became her new normal for when she couldn’t sleep, or when she was bored in class, or really any time she had an excuse. All she knows is that she doesn’t even have to think about it anymore; her fingers navigate to their messages like it’s second nature. 

Now if only said best friend would stop leaving her on delivered, and actually reply.

She might be asleep already, Nymphia reasons, turning under her blankets to face the wall. Which might be for the best, because starting conversations after midnight is a very reliable way for Nymphia to accidentally stay up until the inky oranges and golds of sunrise start peeking through her windows, but still. She can’t sleep, and she has that weird hollow feeling that she knows won’t quite go away until she talks to someone, and more often than not that someone is usually–

Bzz.

All thoughts of sleep abandoned, Nymphia scrambles to fish her phone out from under her pillow. She has to squint a little at the bright light, but she smiles anyway at the two new notifications that have appeared on her lockscreen.
