Once she started dating Mike she would sleep at his place sometimes which I think it's okay, she was paying the bills and would leave dinner ready and communicate Debs and she was still looking out for them, they had health care and she took them to the clinic and all that.     When you started going to Hawkins high school you caught the eyes of not just a few people. All the popular girls immediately labeled you as too much of a tomboy to be seen with them, a lot of the guys thought you were off putting, the nerds thought you looked too much like a jock to see what you were about.

    You didn’t have any immediate friends is what you were getting at. Sure, you enjoyed not looking like a barbie doll someday but there was no problem with wanting to dress up some. You just preferred not to most of the time. 

    The first thing you did when you got there was try out for the soccer team. There wasn’t a girls team considering how small Hawkins was and there were never enough people to make up a full actual team so you tried out for the men's team.

    Steve saw you the day you did. Legally the school wasn’t allowed to kick you out of tryouts although they could cut you later on. He was sitting on the bleachers, trying to get some homework done for a change. He found it easier to do out in public when he didn’t have anything in his room as a distraction. He noticed you nearly immediately, considering the fact that there had never been a girl that tried out for the guys soccer team. 

    Homework long forgotten he watched you play. There was no denying you were better than a lot of the guys. He figured you had probably come from a school that had a better team than Hawkins High ever had. He wondered if they would even be able to cut you at all without seeming like douchebags.

    After try outs you ran over to the bleachers to grab the things you had left there, your school bag and such. 

    “Hey, you were really good,” Steve said, pointing his pencil at the field a bit. You smiled at him, taking a swig of your water.

    “You mind telling your asshole coach that?” you asked, laughing a little bit. He chuckled. 

    “He wouldn’t know talent if it kicked him in the nuts.” You smiled genuinely at that, shrugging.

    “Well at least I gave it a shot.” 

    You were gone after that but you stuck in his mind and you would be lying if you said that he hadn’t stuck in yours. There was something about that floppy head of hair of his that you liked, not to mention he was the first person in that school to talk to you like a human being. 

    You saw him a few times in the hall over the next few weeks and you even sat together at lunch after a few days. There was no denying how much you liked each other even if neither of you were willing to admit it. 

    He invited you to a party that one of his buddies was throwing and you accepted easily, seeing it as an opportunity to make more friends. That Friday night you arrived at what you assumed was Tommy's house. It was already packed with people and you grabbed a drink from the punch bowl that was filled to the brim with something that didn’t look like a punch or taste like it either.

    After a few drinks you ran into Steve who also looked like he was a little more drunk than he was willing to admit. 

    “Hey there stranger,” he called, leaning against the pillar on the porch. “You weren’t thinking of driving home with that drink were you?” You shook your head, leaning against the pillar opposite him.

    “Just needed some fresh air.” He smiled at you and just watched you. You weren’t sure what you wanted to do yet but your brain was fuzzy and you couldn’t think of something to say that would be of any substance, granted you could think of plenty things to say. 

    “Hey you’re like,” he swallowed hard and laughed, “super cool.” You raised an eyebrow.

    “Yeah? You’re not so bad yourself Harrington.” He seemed quite pleased with that which made you take another long awkward sip from your drink. He kicked himself off of the side of the pillar and gestured his drink at you.

    “You know my last name.” 

    “Yeah mister king of the school of course I do.” He moved a little closer to you and you couldn’t help but watch his lips as they spoke. 

    “I’ve kinda had a thing for you. Since the soccer tryout.” Your eyes went to him and you could tell he was borderline drunk but neither of you were blackout yet. You were hoping to cling to this memory enough to remember in the morning.

    “I’ve had a thing for you since then too.” He let out an obvious sigh of relief. You laughed, swirling your drink in your cup.

    “I would kiss you but we both smell like shitty punch beer.” 

    “I mean if we both smell like that, does it matter?”

    All Steve could think about was how when Nancy was drunk she had broken up with him. She had told him that their relationship was bullshit when he believed it was real. And here you stood in front of him, laughing at a shitty attempt to kiss you while you were both at least tipsy.

The hallway of the hospital echoes as stiletto heels click on the white tile floor of the hospital, the CPS worker speed walked through the white corridors. Miss Darla slowed down her walk as she came closer to room 37, Lucas' temporary bedroom, she grasped the handle and opened the door.

The door squeaked as she pushed her way into the room, the sleepy Deputy held his head up and waved at the CPS worker, "Mornin'." She smiles and waves back at the Deputy, "Good morning, how is he doing?" I am an 18 y/o female I was recently involved in a serious car accident 3 days ago. so here is what happened, I was traveling southbound and there was an 18 wheeler traveling northbound. I was moving over into my left lane because I was soon about to turn onto the highway.the light was green and I must admit I did see the truck but it was further back so I decided to try and make the left the light was turning yellow and I wanted to beat the light but my main focus shifted to my left rearview mirror because I wanted to make sure there weren't any cars in my blind spot..next thing you know I looked up and the truck was swerving out of control obviously he was trying to beat the yellow light as well and since he is driving a truck it is way much harder to complete an abrupt stop without gliding practically 100 yards..he smashed right into me and dragged my car along with his truck until I was facing northbound with him..my car is completely ruined and totaled..I know for a fact that if I would've had a passenger with me they would've died on impact, I am so blessed because i wasn't injured that bad beside a little torn tissue in my knee,the pain from my seatbelt, minor scratches,bruised lips, and the small cuts from small glass and powder from the air bag, I did however immediately jumped out of the car cause I didn't want to get blown up or anything...anyways the police came..come to find out the truck driver didn't have proof of insurance with him..and we both got a ticket..mines was failure to yield and his was failure to slow down at yellow light so we both were at fault that was my first car and I only had it for a month and I have full coverage..now the big question is once I buy another car will my insurance company let me stay with them?..because I really like them and they are loyal to their words and customers..I also realize that I caused them to lose alot of money compared to how much I paid...""

Hey, so I have my driving test on June 3rd but i am looking to buy a car before then in these next few weeks.
