Reverse racism isn't real but its kinda insane how some poc react to being told "taking out your anger about racism on white people you oppress on the basis of sexuality or gender, by being homophobic/transphobic to them is bad"

#i am 100% convinced its because yall find someone you hold societal power over and immediately want to flip the script #especially since every time this topic comes up they immediately try to paint every critic as either white or like #a coconut/oreo/ect #cause the base assumption is always 'racism is so much worse than every other axis of oppression that you cannot oppress white people ever #which stems from the specifics of how racism and misogyny interact such that white women often are able to leverage their whiteness #in such a way that it trumps the male privilege of a black man #but most people take that to mean that men of color cannot be misogynistic to white women #but what they miss is the misogyny that causes that reversal ie. white women are white mens property #but they extrapolate that mistaken conception to make it so that bigotry towards white people doesn't count ever #n e ways
