thanks everybody for the cat tips!!
#not gonna post em here but thank youuu#i will consider things further#my dog's gonna go see the kitten again and see how they get along the second time#i'm just Immediately stressing about shit like...#urinary problems from stress and peridontal disease and tooth resorption and shit#like i know 100% how to make a dog as happy and healthy as possible a 100%#for cats i'm like there might be shit i don't knowwwww#like i know you gotta be careful of poisonous house plants and you can't have thread lying around and stuff like that#but there must also be so much i Don't Know and that's stressing me out#gotta do more research and talk to cat people i think#also like what do you Do with a cat day to day y'know?#you feed it and you play a bit? i'm thinking of getting a harness to take the cat outside sometimes#and gonna try to teach it the basic stuff like recall so maybe it could go free in the summer house later idk#and get it used to nail cutting and teeth brushing#but with cats all of that is just Much Harder eh π
#and then there's the dehydration to worry about...#for now i will see how the dog and kitten behave when they meet for longer the second time and then start making a decision!#also like can you sleep well with a cat or do they not let you sleep?? ofc kittens can be different though#my dog lets me sleep so good man i need sleep#personal#not dnf
