Hi!!!1! I just decided to make a bunch of hxh x omori sprites for my funny little fusion au idea because I really like hxh and omori both

I havent made neutrals for leorio/kurapika yet but here !!! I made it for a little interaction. I decided that since in omori theres not much of an age difference, that kurapika will be 14 in the past and leorio will be 16, and later obv 18 and 20.

Alluka is still 11 and Kalluto is still 10 though, as well as killua and gon being both 12 in the past (14, 15, 16, 16, 18, and 20) 

I made the text boxes and stuff with my art and this excellent dialogue generator it was very fun.

I havent made gon or kallutos dw sprites yet but...

[ Major omori spoilers & tw for death/suicide ]

ok so here we get into the nitty gritty of the story, so if youve played/watched a playthrough of omori you know what im talking abt...

so in the story, sunny accidentally kills mari and basil watches. If you didnt already guess, Killua is supposed to be sunny, Gon would be mari, and basil will be kalluto. 

Killua moved in with gon a month prior because he was old enough and his home situation obviously isnt the best (a lot of trauma with his parents and illumi which in the hikikomori route would go much in depth to) and since they lived together more they got into more fights. 

One day, Kalluto was over and Killua and Gon got in a big argument. Kalluto was speechless and they wanted to interfere but couldn’t as they saw their brothers face. Killua was getting really agitated and pushed Gon down the stairs accidcentally. 

Idk what the argument will be about specifically... I don’t know if i hsould have them do a performance or not like in the actual game. I also dont know what they’ll do with gon after they find out hes.. yk.. dead... but it’ll probably be a staged suicide as well, as that makes the rest of the group feel even more conflicted. Especially Leorio, who thought himself a bigger brother figure to Gon, and Kurapika, who feels guilty about often relying on Gon to comfort him instead of comforting Gon. 

The scene....

The last box is more or less a reference to the scene in the truth sequence where there are a bunch of hospital beds and if you interact with them it says “This person is not alive.” or “This person is not breathing.” Ifg but yea.

Speaking of the truth sequence, instead of collecting photos, you collect scraps of ripped paper from a drawing of the truth by kalluto. Instead of taking photos, Kalluto likes to draw/do paper crafts, and instead of a photo album, they have a sketchbook for drawings relating to their friends.

After gon dies, Killua obv isolates like sunny in the game, but Mito is more involved in taking care of him unlike sunnys mom.

I think there will be two somethings, one being the bitterness of gons death and gons spirit being twisted into a sick innocent... thing, and the other being illumi’s... well basically everything illumi told killua about himself, and killua being convinced that it’s true.

Alluka tries to be positive, and is the one to get Killua out of the house, and sticks up for Kalluto when they need it.

Kalluto really wants killua to like them, and is now scared of him and feels like his burden. Theyre often anxious around him and Killua tries to repress any bad memories, so he doesnt interact with Kalluto when they see each other again much at all.

The zoldyck household is not a very good place to be in any case for Kalluto and Alluka. Illumi left, luckily, but their parents were still as harsh (transphobicc...), and often say theyre glad that their friend group seperated. Alluka learned to stand up for herself and Kalluto in this environment because Killua wasn’t there anymore. (Kalluto Basil parallels -- you came back to save me)

Kurapika also isolates but in a different way. He isn’t a hikikomori, and he goes outside a lot, but hes closed off emotionally. He stopped caring about school, so he didn’t even bother looking into college after he graduated. He pretends that he doesnt know his friends, which isnt very successful with Alluka or Leorio, but it really hurts Kalluto. When they try to talk to him, he’s very passive aggressive.

Kurapikas home life isnt great. He was orphaned at 12 years old, and his relationship with his legal guardian, Izunavi, wasn’t too amazing at first, but begrudgingly by the time he turned 14 they got along. Everything reverted when Gon died, however, as he stopped talking to his caretaker as well as his friends.

So hes kind of like real world aubrey in the way that he becomes prickly towards his friends, but he doesnt join a gang.... There would def be a ‘it means everything’ like scene and also a breakdown scene where Kurapika breaks down and apologizes to everybody, especially Kalluto who isnt there if were going like the sunny route plot. 

Leorio is at college!!!!! and going to med school obv.. I think he would have always wanted to be a doctor unlike hero, so in dw maybe he would have a SYRINGE AS A WEAPON HELP. But anyways he feels so guilty about gons death like gon was like a little brother to him, and he was so young. So he was definitely depressed like hero was/is. Alluka consistently visited him (and tried to visit kurapika and killua to no avail) before he left for college, and she helped him become less depressed. He wants his friends to be happy again and will do anything to make sure nothing happens to any of them. 

He notices especially how different Killua, Kurapika, and partially Kalluto are, and he is the one that really helps Kurapika open up after everything thats happened. He’s not sure how to talk to Kalluto and Killua about it as much, though.

...instead of garden sheers, kalluto has scissors...

0:19-0:27 shows eret (the current king at the time of the dream smp team) and dream talking about respect and backstabing, which i think is funnny cuz he was the first ever traitor of lmanbrg and about wilbur having dark wings, i think, not really sure but it's my interpretation to it) 1:20 is where techno shows his underground bunk to pogtopia (the rebelling/revolution party) which literally has so much shit 1:21 -1:30 is the bunker with the stuff needed in a fight, each chest is filled with stacks of one item ex. one chest is full with strength pots and the other with flaming arrows 1:30-1:31 shows techno saying the most iconic line, and also shows how his chara is an anarchist (someone who doesnt like any form of government) sadist seems to like remind people that hes basically chaotic in this scene 1:31-1:32 shows pogtopia getting the loot with an easter egg of tubbo taking all the emeralds of a chest (he actually did this on stream so kudos to sadist for that little detail) 1:37 techno actually gives a powerful enchanted sword to tommy personally and then the awesomme af transition of to tommy leading the pogtopia to kill schlatt 1:42 shows dream preparing 1:43-1:47 shows the all three parties, the first is lmanburg (maburg) party with schlatt and dream takig charge, second being the pogtopia party and if u noticed wilbur is the only one not happy and the only one without armor because at this point he became insane and want to blow up lmanburg but people do not know, the lastly the neutral party which showcases badboyhalo talking about that it doesnt really matter with flames in the bg (i think this references to the egg which is seen later in the future but at this point in time the weird egg is just starting to grow with bbh tending to it which made him go crazy up until the whole skeppy thing (skepp is bbh's best friend so yea)) 1:48 is the buttonn to blow up lmanburg but wilbur hasnt pushed it yet cuz he is still trying to figjt the urge to push it 1:49-1:53 wilbur is losing his mind and is on the verge of destroying everything with his black wings showing to represent his dad which shows up on the next scene 1:54-1:55 phil shows up and wibur doesnt know what to with his dad confronting him and knowing that phil wouldnt approve and would try to stop him 1:57 shows the bridge where pogtopia is running through to get to schlatt and it's iconic due to the fact of the coinicidence it being a sunset 2:00 is the start of the fight with an explosion then the fight sequence between pogtopia and lmanburg happen to get to to schlatt 2:10 happens and u see schlatt on the ground at this point in time hes an alcholic and hes drunk and surroounded by once friends turned enemy due to his tyranny 2:18 fundy explains why he joined pogtopia to schlatt 2:22 schlatt dies losing his last canon life due to a heart attack, tbh im suprised on how sad-ist made this so serious but in teh streams he dies while saying to quackity that his ass his flat or i quote "flatty patty" 2:23 tubbo is made the new president by wilbur 2:24 everyone rejoices but technoblade cuz he joined and helped pogtopia becauase he thought that after they won there would be no more governemnt 2:25-2:45 the act of terrorism of technoblade starts with him explaining his beliefs as an anarchist, he threatens tubbo which is serious because tubbo has only one last canon life left and tommy goes to fight him to save tubbo 2:45 pogtopia fights technoblade 2:47 we go back to wilbur where the button is that will start all the tnt hidden underneath lmanburg 2:48 the fight is still going on outside and people are unaware of what wilbur is going to do 2:51 wilbur quotes the first ever traitor: eret saying "it was never meant to be" and phil is shocked and doesnt do anything to stop wilbur from hitting the button 3:02 he couldnt stop wilbur pressing the button which in turn explodes everything even half the room but phil was able to protect wilbur from the blast 3:04-3:05 teh explosion happens and disrupts the fight between techno and pogtopia 3:06 tommy's closup to his reaction of seeing the land he fought for blowing up 3:07-3:09 wilbur hands philza his sword and says to kill him but phil refuses saying that he cant kill his own son 3:11 the other;s reaction seeing phil and wilbur in the room after the explosion dies down 3:12 tubbo is in shock 3:13  dream is watching in triumph as he sees wilbur blow everything up 3:15 techno prepares the withers //also fun fact when phil killed will he finds out techno is the traitor they were warned about who will bring destruction and chaos during the earlier stages of the revolution, it isnt wilbur as he exploded everything on his own volition rather than teaming up with dream like what techno did 3:16 techno's speech starts alluding to a previous conversation he had with tommy where he warns tommy that being a hero will result in a gruesome death 3:18-3:20 different scenes pop up, the first being tommy's discs being held by someone with armor (i think its dream due to the fact he has the discs later in the timeline to threaten tommy and lmanburg), the second being someone in a lmanburg uniform (not sure if its tommy or tubbo but if its tommy it seems like it'sthe exile), 3rd is the throne room with george on the throne and dream and callahan at his side , then last is the scene of the newest members, captain puffy, connor, and ranboo joining with emphasis on ranboo as he is  important to the plot later on the sequence also shows phil holding a now deceased wilbur crying and then techno realeses the withers on everyone (withers are very difficult to kill and cause so mch chaos even if its alone and its hard to summon it as you have to farm for wither skulls which is also hard so the fact techno has enough to make two is a big deal) 3:27  shows the lmanburg tree, it is a tree that represents lmanburg and has been there for both wars and is extremely important to the history of the nation and thats that :3

The boy on the ice was new to the Grand Prix series, and it was clear that he wouldn’t be advancing to the final.  His triples were shaky and he wasn’t even attempting a quad.  Not that quads were required, Victor reminded himself.  Just last year he’d taken them out of his programs at Euros on a dare and had still won by a comfortable margin, purely on the strength of a clean skate and high PCS marks.  Yakov had been apoplectic, of course, and had forbidden him from pulling such a stunt at Worlds, but it had honestly been the most fun Victor had had at a competition in years.

The boy – Chulanont, from Thailand – was fun to watch, though.  He danced his program with a cheerfulness that was infectious, and he had the audience clapping along to the music within moments.  A popped triple axel and a two-footed landing on a triple-double combination didn’t seem to bother him in the slightest, though Victor knew he had to be disappointed.  But Chulanont’s spins were solid, and his steps…

Who does that step sequence remind me of, he wondered.  A flash of blue and silver teased at Victor’s memory, crowned in a mop of dark hair.  Oh yes, that Japanese skater. Yuuki something?  Yoshi?  I wonder if Chulanont is his fan.  It bothered him, a little, not to be able to remember the man’s name.  Victor had it written down somewhere in one of his notebooks – he still researched all of the skaters that he shared ice with, Yakov having drilled respect for his competitors into him at an early age – but he didn’t used to need the physical notes the way he did now.  When had the names and faces all started to blur?  I really must be getting old, Victor thought dismally.

Chulanont ended on a slide, his arms outstretched.  He was all smiles as he took his bows, but his eyes gleamed in a way that almost made Victor smile.  He’s determined.  Good.  He’ll take this experience and grow from it.

Victor zoned out during the scoring, already knowing how he’d be judged.  Chulanont had been the last to skate the short program, and he wasn’t close to challenging Georgi’s first place standing.  Georgi’s own skate had been the cleanest Victor had ever seen it, and if he was able to carry that energy over into the free skate they’d be in the Final together for sure, Victor already having secured his own place with a pair of easy golds in Skate Canada and NHK.

Yakov found Victor still sitting in the stands as the crowd was thinning.  “You’re joining us for dinner?” the old coach rumbled.  It was barely a question.  He frowned as Victor shook his head.

“Tonight is Gosha’s, and if I go I’ll just draw attention away from him.”  He sighed with just the right amount of rueful, “what can you do?” disappointment in it.  “I’ll hide in my room and let him enjoy his well-earned spotlight.  Think of me when I’m scrounging scraps from vending machines?”

“Running up the room service bill outrageously, you mean.”  But Yakov’s face had softened into something like fondness.  “It’s true that the fans and the press tend to focus on you whether you skate or not,” he said finally, and Victor knew that he’d won.

It wasn’t that Victor didn’t want to give Georgi the opportunity to shine on his own – of course he did, Gosha had more than earned it – but the real truth was far more selfish. If he went to dinner and someone recognized him – and in Moscow, during Rostelecom, the chances of that happening were pretty damn high – they weren’t just going to ignore Georgi.  They would want, no, insist that he be Living Legend Victor Nikiforov for them, Russia’s Golden God, St. Petersburg’s Hope—

What brushes do you use in fire alpaca??  i dont do much in firealpaca (esp not lately lol) but when i did use it a lot i just used the fill bucket and the standard/default brush to fill in gaps n such lol! i dont really draw in it, i used flash/adobe animate for the lineart and just fill in color in firealpaca :3

when did you start animating?   uhh when i was around 11 or 12 when i started digital art i guess? i just used photoshop for the longest time then got flash when i was like 15 or so

i really like your art style gosh darn!!! everythings so fluid and stylized and nice aaa (also ur animations are goals) do u have any tips for someone still developing their artstyle????  WAH TYSM!!!!! compile art you already like and incorporate aspects from their styles into yours, BUT dont limit urself to one style! if u like something then try it out! do straight up copies (as PRACTICE, DONT CLAIM IT as your own ofc) of stuff you like to see how they work and what you’re clicking with. spending time on fundamentals is MEGA helpful so keep going back to that too! USE REFERENCES!!! draw …from ur soul…what makes u ..FEEL good

 how do you make that burn effect on your lineart? it makes it your pieces look sharper and even more interesting, it’s super cool!!  when i used to use flash for lineart and firealpaca for coloring a lot, setting the lineart layer on BURN with the coloring layer seeping a lil past the lineart would get this effect automatically 

(like on the whiskers. u can see it gets a brighter brown(?) and the warmer yellow on the ears)

but since then i’ve been using sai+photoshop more so i just do it manually! i’ll use this funny pic of me and my cat as an example lol

^i select the lineart/everything i want the funky color around

^slam that INCREMENT button a couple times

^make a new layer under the lineart

^fill that puppo with ur preferred color! something brighter works best, or even straight up white

that’ll give you something like this

then i open it in photoshop

and i mess with the pink line layer’s blending mode..color burn usually does the trick but depending on the Look you’re going for, saturation, multiply and overlay have some similar effects that look cool. 

i also usually get rid of the outermost edge of pink line that’s visible around the lineart, just so it looks a little cleaner? to do that you just select around your lineart, increment/expand selection, and delete/erase in the selection of the pink line layer

uhh yeah! lmk if anyone needs clarification on this, i have some other #TIPS on makin ur art look crusty and funky so…lemme know if you’re interested :—3

What do you use to animate? And, a more specific question, how do you make transparent animated gifs? adobe animate 2017! (previously flash) i export my animation from flash as a png sequence then open it in photoshop, where the background will be transparent and save it as a gif from there nyaaa

 Hello!! Ur art is rlly pretty and so inspirational and nice to look at!! 💗💗 I was wonderin’ if ya had any tips on choosing shapes for characters? Like, when you draw shapes for a certain character, it looks rlly like it fits with the character’s personality n stuff!! ( e.g: Your Love Live! drawings!! The characters look so good in your style.) I’ve always admired how u did that n was hoping for some tips maybe?? Anyways, have a good day!!💛💖💟💜💝💞💖 HOOGA!! TYSM!!! and YEA you basically guessed it, i mainly just think about the character’s personality and translate that into a shape or Pheeling… 

especially for anime characters i look at the Very Subtle differences in the character’s original design..or possibly canon implications…for example kotori has slightly different eyes (it also says on her wiki page she has soft droopy eyes!) so i make sure to incorporate that Detãile

 anime wiki pages that have details like that is nice, for love live they have cute lil “charm points” which is really cool n helpful! listening to how a character is described in their world can give clues to what differentiates them which you can make more clear in your design

taking into account each characters context is good too, what they do/hobby/personality and how that could affect their appearance/posture/attitude

 YEAH its really fun to figure out certain characteristics and make it evident in their appearance! or. idk thats just what i do lol. hopefully this helps!

whatever happens, ONE of these rivals has a route where they join the evil team. this, this is canon. one of these fuckers joins the bad guys. alright. we’re square. the fucks with the other guy

like, alright. if you treat the first guy well, they stay on your side as a good friend. you treat them ehhh, s’aight, they’re an acquaintance, aint going out their way to help you. treat em like shit, and they join the evil team with the direct intention of fucking up your shit. goes good. goes great. fantastic.

so, THE OTHER GUY. whats up. same basic set up. treat well, friend. treat aight, acquaintance. treat shit, enemy. alright. now, the idea of them have an essentially opposite progression - where if you treat them WELL, they join the Org - is kinda neat. like, you treating them nicely inspires them, i suppose. puts the fire cracker up their bum and sends them off into the world to do good. whereas if youre an ass? they simply dont participate. like they just dont interact with you past a certain trigger point, just like how after a certain threshold is passed, your rival is going to be in the Team no matter what. many thresholds. and that could work? i dont see why it couldnt.

what would be the effect, though? like, for the Team guy, the effect of these things changes the amount of battles you have in some of the story moments, since pissing them off has them join the team and fight you. would treating the Org guy nicely instead remove a battle? like, ok, the way it works is that the ‘base’ is a neutral route, in which the Org and Team rivals are just chill. admittedly in the neutral route the Org guy participates, but thats down to innate character so whatever. point is. in neutral/neutral combo route, lets say there are 10 fights. if you piss of the Team guy, this rises to 11 fights, assuming the Org guy is neutral/pissed. if the Org guy is your FRIEND, meanwhile, the base 10 goes to 9 (OR LESS???) are they talk some grunts down from fighting you. these would be at different sections of the ascent, of course. the Team additional fight comes in Rhia/Elliot’s route climax, whereas the Org lesser fights would come in its lead up, as you enter the tower. ooh, actually, that could be it. You work your way through the city in chaos to reach the tower, and once you do, friend!Org will appear at the door to let you in, negating a confrontation at the door. you still have to fight as you work up, but the immediate fight at the door is removed by Org. thats kinda neat, i think?

plus then there are other benefits/bad times for each permutation, independent of each other. friend!team accompanies you up the tower, presumably healing your pokemon. bearing in mind that in the tower, you are ALSO accompanied by Elliot. so maybe your pokemon are kept healed no matter what?? lets say thats the case. Elliot keeps your pokemon healed. so what does friend!team do? perhaps there are a few double battles on the way up, which otherwise you’d do alone (meaning Elliot is doing something else, like maybe fighting off someone else who appeared, etc). or, at least specifically in that Room Where Shit Occurs, theres almost definitely a double battle, possibly multiple! which youd have to do alone without team (because this time elliot is definitely preoccupied, as the grunts were given VERY SPECIFIC instructions to fuck with him), but if team is there, then bam! you’ve got a buddy! nice.

neutral!team doesnt appear at all in the tower sequence. they COULD be out in the city, but it would be minor at best and not really mentioned, or they’d be at home, safe and sound. and, of course, enemy!team is in the tower sequence and offers a mini boss battle during the Room of Horrors, where they fight you solo after your double battles. itd actually be a kinda grueling gauntlet. sounds kick ass. im into it.

friend!org, of course, is at the door to the tower, lets you in, negating boss battles. they do NOT accompany you up the tower, however. because their ‘arc’ is focused more on them impacting others, rather than impacting you, if this makes sense. uh....... ooh, or maybe they actually help you throughout the city. if the ‘10′ fights include fights on the streets, those are the ones removed, rather than the fights in the tower itself. they basically escort you to door and says ‘good luck, stay safe, im gonna stay out here and help people!’ and off they go! cya, friend. and if you actually backtrack, the fights they stopped will stay stopped - it wasnt one time. they totally disabled those fights. i THINK that works? though the people on the streets should be Team members...... though Org likely has no idea theyre the same org, only that shits gonna batty. maybe what they did was they’d actually been fighting those trainers after hell broke out at the tower?? yea, that’d be it! like, you leave the pokemon center and work your way towards the tower, and you’d encounter friend!Org fighting a team grunt, then coming over to you and explaining that they’re holding everyone off and that the route to the tower is clear, even though they don’t really want you to go there. but they send you on your way with wishes of luck and some curatives, and then they rush off into the city to fight more Team Grunts and help more people. godspeed, ya bastard.

neutral!org.... doess.... hmm. theyre still in the city, i think, because its in their nature to help others (unless youre a cunt, but we’re getting to that). but they havent fought off the trainers. instead, they’re at the pokemon center, maybe guarding the door or just inside with some younger people keeping them in check, smth like that. you chat, they wish you luck, but no items. off you go, buddy.

enemy!org is just not there. they just are not present. not at all. the idea HERE being that their default nature is to help others, and that by you treating them like dirt, they get this idea that people are ungrateful and dont deserve help. as such, enemy!org is off sulking at home. probably posting platitudes on twitter and doing jack shit. good on you.

i THINK those two arcs generally work. with both, they have a ‘default’ nature, them without having met you. for org, is that they like to help people. by being nice to them, you encourage this worldview and they take it to a higher level, joining the Organisation and directly helping you in the tower sequence by making a clear path to said tower. by being mean, you give them the idea that people are ungrateful and undeserving, and they go off and sulk and are just generally kinda bitter. for team, its that they think you’re ok. by being nice, they think youre Really Cool and want to help you succeed! they wanna see you achieve your dreams! by being mean, they think youre a Righy Cunt and want to destroy your dreams.

team does seem pretty shallow there.... there is more to both, of course, its just their routes revolve around these specific aspect. for instance, org is almost definitely a naive character, perhaps an out of towner. team, contrarily, is a little more worldly and their view of the world is more stabilised - its their view of INDIVIDUALS that can be altered. so orgs view of society is altered by your actions (they see you as a sort of rep for it all), while teams view of individuals is changed. thats the difference. i like that.

now, which one is which. is your Rival org, or team? if the other player team, or org??? hmmm.... well, a naive rival who grows more worldly has sorta already been done, with Wally specifically. so on that front, having Rival be the team one is more interesting to me. on the other hand, having a more neutral character whose sole big changes are player based makes more sense for the other player, and them going the Team is frankly really interesting as a sort of fulfilment of player dreams. mmm.... on the other hand, the other player being org keeps them as a more neutral force on the story, akin to a character like Ethan/Lyra, which leaves room for the Rival (silver/hugh) to breathe. minimises the other player as a character while not completely removing them and keeping them as part of your starter set squad. i kinda like that? that feels like a better way to deal with the other player character. i guess actually what’d really compare to is Brendan/May and Wally, except that in this case you meet brendan/may and wally at the same time rather than slightly staggered. but brendan/may still falls off the map in terms of actual rivalry towards the end to be replaced by Wally. in this case, no matter what, Rival is still your rival, its just the CONTEXT for them fighting you is different. in friend!rival they fight you to improve you. in enemy!rival, they fight you to fuck you up. nice! fucking nice.

i think i prefer that. Rival joins the team, ‘Alex’ joins the org. i dig it. also they wont be called Alex, since now they can be two ‘separate characters’ who are largely interchangeable but with minor changes. whereas if they were like a gym leader or elite they’d need to be REALLY interchangeable to make shit easier. im into it.
