This might turn into a simp page for Tech from the Bad Batch for a bit...

I’ll go back to Mandalorian when the new season comes out. But for now, I just cannot get over Tech 😍

This is just quotes from Tech that have made me Have Feelings™️ in some way...because well, why not 😂

(Yes I know they’re out of order....and yes it bothers me I’m just too busy to fix it right now)

I’m now adding some more Crosshair to this. I’ve had a soft spot for him since the beginning but after all that has happened I’ve slowly fallen farther and farther for him.

This has now turned into an all of them thing, and now its time for S2 to be added :))

The Bad Batch

Crosshair on the other hand, he’s not much of a conversationalist, but when you have to hit a precise target from ten clicks, Crosshair’s your man.

WE STILL DON’T KNOW WHY CROSSHAIR DOESN’T LIKE REGS! I’m writing this with one episode left in the first BB season.

This is also the only time we see Crosshair laugh, and really smile 🥺 he has such a beautiful little smirk. (Side note, we never see Crosshair get out of the gunship…) He’s gonna get the gunship out of there. Not Cody. And what is Cross doing while the rest of them are preoccupied with Cody?? Keeping an eye on everything else. To keep his brothers safe.

A Distant Echo

Can we appreciate the fact that Wrecker is Tech’s copilot?? 🥺

Can we all appreciate Tech translating, and being able to see things from his perspective 🥺🥺 through his helmet. Relax. I’ll handle this. 🤭

I think you’re letting your personal feelings get in the way because you left him for dead at the Citadel. I had no choice. You hear me? Oh, I don’t blame you. I would’ve left him for dead too. Besides, he’s just another reg.

The way that Tech can walk up to any computer console and just know what he’s doing is something else...

And the way that he just knows to give Rex a minute with Echo....his social skills aren’t one of his strong suits, but I’d bet he’s done a lot of reading on that subject to improve them to get to the level that he is on. Kriff...he’s doing better than me sometimes 🤣

The fact that Tech is climbing the vent with Echo clinging to him just makes me 🥺😭😭

To anyone else who says Tech isn’t aware during battles, HAVE YOU SEEN HIM?!?!?! He will run off to place a droid popper in the perfect spot, he can coordinate the rest of the group to be the most effective in a battle, AND he’s a dam good shot!

Unfinished Business

“Still not sure how we’re gonna land on that ship.” *this coming from the PILOT who is by no means an amateur...I anxiously await the day I get to see him pilot the Havoc Marauder in a battle 😳*

“That makes me feel so much better...To be blunt, his mind belonged to the Separatists until we unplugged him. We don’t really know where his loyalties lie.” *I know this is a controversial line, but I can see Tech’s point of view. You just don’t know people, even when you think you do.*

Forgive me for this one from Hunter, it just gives me hope ok… “I’m angry at myself. We don’t leave our own behind.” CUE ME SINGING VODE AN!!!!!!! 😭😭

Watching Crosshair walk into the barracks and look at where his vode should be and SEEING the memories play out across his face…he misses them too. But he thinks he’s been abandoned because they won’t follow orders, like good soldiers. AND THE MUSIC?!?! 😭😭 It breaks my heart every time to see him sitting alone on his bunk looking lost and hopeless. I wrote a drabble because I couldn’t stop thinking about this scene after this episode dropped.

Cornered

*Hunter…why are we going to Idaflor?? You should know that you won’t be able to hide from the Empire…*

“The signature key should be embedded below the rear parallax inverters.” *grumbles incoherently* “Just tell me what to rip out.” “Well, start with that.”

(Ok, but Omega curled up in Wrecker’s neck while he holds her WITH ONE ARM made me feel something)

“The Jedi who are all dead?” Well, anyone have a better option? [Omega on comm] He has a point. Right, not a toy.

Ok, clearly they all had a mission briefing and included Omega and I’m so proud of these four Space Dads 🥺

“Well, perhaps Cid heard what happened to the Jedi and fled. Or he was arrested for violating countless health code regulations.”

This was the moment I knew I hated Cid. When she says “oh look, it talks!” When Wrecker asks a question. I’ve hated them working for her since this moment.

WHY IS HUNTER FLYING THE MARAUDER?!

“According to Cid’s intel, the Zygerrian slave traders are hiding in the ruins of Old Ord Mantell city.” “What’s a slave trader?” “Someone who buys and sells people for credits.” “People can be sold?” “They don’t have a choice. I have a visual. I only see one child. I’m clocking two dozen hostiles. Multiple entry points with minor fortification. Simple smash and grab like that time on Kuat.

(Direct commission…….so, someone with a LOT of credits, the power to be able to stay confidential, and a scientific reason to want Omega. My top suspects are still: Palpatine, the Hutts, Lama Su, Nala Se, and just for the osik of it Hondo.)

Wait……Cid already knows how valuable Omega is to the Kaminoans…and who wants her and why. Cid betraying them was always gonna happen. Cuz Cid always leaves out details, so her knowing EVERYTHING right away wouldn’t surprise me. Dam I hate this trandoshan…

Reunion

CT-9904 is ordered to terminate the Batch if he finds them…

That’s not comforting.

My scans indicate the armory and artillery bay have not been fully off-loaded. The dialoga must have kept the scrappers away.

I would also add that the intel from the bridge’s central system has the potential to be worth far more than any weapon.

Tech…what was the war like? It was a primary mission objective comprised of battles on various fronts. But, what was it like? Hmm? I just told you. Why is this button blinking? That’s the proximity sensor. It signals when there’s an approaching vessel. It’s most likely a short circuit. Hunter, we’ve got company. Is it more scrappers? No, it’s the Empire.

Tapping our comms to track our movements? So predictable. (There are only two spots Crosshair hears mention of the chips. Once in Aftermath and all Tech is talking about is the regs being “programmed”. And here on Bracca when Hunter tells him. If he has had his chip removed, it had to have been after this when he’s injured.) (I also hate watching them shoot their own brothers)

I did’t think you meant we’d be escaping through the engine. I could not have been clearer.

These chambers are quite the engineering marvel. This blast primer coating is capable of withstand- *Tech’ika come info-dump to me. I’ll always listen.*

Try again, Hunter. I told you before, you’re surrounded. *Crosshair never misses. But CT-9904 does*

I love the ending music here 🥺 this is exactly what the Kiner Bros do that I absolutely love to listen to in a show like this!

Bounty Lost

Because she is more valuable than we realized. What do you mean? I further analyzed Omega’s genetic profile and discovered she has pure, first-generation DNA. Woah! W- What does that mean? All clones were created from a host names Jango Fett. While our genetic structure was modified for growth acceleration and obedience, Omega is a pure genetic replication. How many clones like that exist? To my knowledge there’s only one other. A male clone code-named Alpha, later referred to as Boba. Since he disappeared at the start of the war, that makes Omega the sole living course of Fett’s raw genetic material. If she’s vital to the Kaminoans’ cloning operation, they must have put the bounty on her. *this makes Omega’s line to Echo in Aftermath in a whole new light. When he’s waking up after being knocked out from the fight in the cafeteria, Omega’s connects with him by saying “I don’t like being hooked up to their machines either.” What if Omega is the donor for the Batch, and the reason they have their mutations.*

Omega, we need a relay of your position. Try to create a power surge. Can you find a panel nearby? There’s one by a door. It looks like the ones on Tipoca CIty. That’s good. First, see if you can activate it. It worked. Now what should I do? Next you will need to reroute the circuits to overload the main grid.

We’ve never been to Raxus before. The coordinates from Cid have us landing outside the capital city of Raxulon, the home of their Senate. I can’t believe we’re helping a separatist senator. So you have said. Repeatedly.

No. Tech won’t let me train until I can recite all of the ship’s specifications from memory. That sounds like something Tech would do, and it shows that in order for his brothers to fly His Ship, they all have done the same thing.

*The MUSIC at the end of this episode….after they walk Hera out of the transport, and then it just takes OFF when CT-9904 takes the shot 🥺🥵🥵 the Kiner bros didn’t have to go that hard for the end of this episode but they did.*

Rampart is the one who gives him the order to hunt them down, and he says “if only they were fighting for us instead of against us”*

It is not the first time she has left out key details. *yeah….not a fan of Cid. Have never been*

Given his tone, it is a plausible assumption that Cid was either forced out or taken out. * I was so hoping she was gone….*

I believe she’s threatening us. *Yes, and when you threaten my vode, you better be prepared. I would love to bury Cid*

The distress signal sent by CC-5576 is originating from Daro, a terrestrial planet in the Outer Rim with no known settlements or installations. *the goggles adjustment when he shares info like that always makes me smile*

May I remind you that we are in the middle of a job for Cid. If we deviate, we will not be compensated. No money means no food. *ugh, forget Cid guys!!*

We do now know for certain if CC-5576 is even in there, or if he is still alive. We’d be going in blind without any reinforcements. You did that on Skako Minor when you rescued me. I’d still be trapped in that place if you hadn’t. If there’s a chance that trooper’s being held against his will, we have to try to get him out.*AND WHAT ABOUT CROSSHAIR?!?!?!*

The muster report lists 50 clone commandos and 1,000 TK troopers. *who are the other 49 commandos?? And do I know any of them?? How many commandos were created/what training did they receive to be commandos?? These are the questions I need answered and Dave won’t give me any…* TK trooper? TK trooper? I’m not familiar with that designation.

Where are we going? You’ll find out soon enough. And so will your squad. Using my comm won’t work. They’ll know its a trap. They’ll still come for you. *I think it was very sexy of Cross to look like THAT. Hunter’s knife on the other side of his belt, his rifle stored in his pack, and his blaster on the other hip. He’s just intimidating here and I love that for him! Oh, the music is also 🤯😍*

Activating Hunter’s comm was intentional. The Empire wants us to come to Kamino. I am uncertain as to why. No turning back now. Are you positive about these coordinates?

We are at the given coordinates, Omega. There is nothing here. You have to get lower. Lower. *gives suspicious side eye* If I go any lower we will be in the water.

*so we go from the platform to Nala Se’s lab. And then her lab is in a different building than their barracks and the training grounds.*

Where are all the regs? When did you start caring about them? No Kaminoans either. This facility’s being decommissioned. You don’t seem too concerned. Why would I be? Because the Empire will be phasing out clones next. Not the ones that matter. *ok, they STILL haven’t shown us the reason they don’t like the regs. My left femur has been fractured but approximately 150 kilograms of pressure…so…no. (As an x-ray student, I’ve seen a couple femur fractures. They are painful, and the patient is NEVER walking. I hate watching this scene, but I had always assumed that maybe it was more of a proximal femur fracture, but really it looks like maybe its more of a distal femur fracture. He seems to be grabbing closer to his knee after Omega and Echo get the container off of him. I would have believed the rest of the episode if they’d showed Tech getting like a hypostim, a bacta shot, or literally just shoving some sort of needle into his leg to make me believe that he’d be able to do everything he does in the rest of the episode.)

*I should preface this episode by saying that I absolutely SOBBED three times in this episode. I love the focus on Crosshair and his arc. I also love how it shows that now the Separatists are the good guys that a LOT of people were rooting for, because the clones now serve the Empire. I have been looking forward to exploring this area of the SW timeline, the rise of the Empire and how we get to what we see in Rebels and Rogue One.*
