BLUE PERIOD IS SO SHHEHEHEHHE esp if ur an artist like myself, it gives u a different and probably more professional view of art ^^ For wat i like abt it, i'd say da characters and how theyre written. The main character is pretty relatable. Theres another character who has family issues and may be trans (or genderfluid? it isnt confirmed but she was born male, currently dresses feminine and hates it when people uses her dead name). Another one who was born a 'Genius' but doesnt really understand art, hes only doing it bcs its basically wat he can only do. Another character who'm gets compared to her older sister and so on. I forgot to post this last night but! It's time for HSMTMTS Appreciation Week Day Five: Free Choice!

Honestly, I'm just gonna take a quick minute to say how my rewatch reminded me how much I love this show. I had to relive storylines that hurt or are awkward, but I rewatched scenes that mean so much to me. Scenes that I remember freaking out about for the first time :'). Throughout all three seasons, there's amazing music, wonderful serious and emotional scenes, and so many hilarious lines and happenings xD.

HSMTMTS has been one of the only shows I've watched where I've been there since the beginning - more or less. 2019, we were talking about getting Disney+, and reading lists of what would be on it, and heard HSMTMTS. We all thought it sounded cheesy, but I also thought it sounded low-key a bit cool, and I at least wanted to check it out. I joked about just being like, morbidly curious lol, but I wanted to see it. So one night, my sister and I sat down and binged the first four episodes. We made fun of it a lot, but I realized I was genuinely excited for the next episode to come out. And, if to a bit of a lesser extent lol, my sibling was as well. We only loved it more and more throughout. Then, shortly after the finale, I finally looked through the tag on Tumblr. I lurked, since I didn't have a Tumblr account at the time, I sent a few asks on anonymous. I connected with this fandom without even having an account. And when I did get an account, it was one of my first fandoms on it.

I'll probably tell parts of this story again after season 4, because I'm sure I'll be super emotional and want to make a post about it lol. But I just wanted to say it now and make it extra clear that this show means so much to me. A lot more than most people would guess. I love it so much, and I'm really not ready to let it go xd. But the first few episodes I've seen of season 4 have been amazing, and even if I'm not ready, I'm so excited to see the rest :').

Thank you guys, fandom past and present, for making this a wonderful experience :). A big chunk of that love goes to you guys as well <3. It's been a fun journey :).

So let's keep it going :D.
