“They’ve created a bike trail” the sun was close to setting and the two were making their way back. “Oh you’re right, they did” he beamed. She found it funny how he looked so mysterious and cold when they met at the airport, but he let her inner child out. As if the normal childhood she never got to experience, was happening in this very moment. “Wanna join me tomorrow for the sunrise?” he asked, the way he walked made everything around them a brighter tone. “I would love that, though we don’t have any bikes and-“

“It’s okay Ill let you borrow my sister’s!” he walked you to the front door, ready to part ways. She hesitated, “Sure, I’ll wake you up then”. He took out his phone, “put your number in”, he handed you his phone. Your hands brush against each other as if it was your first time acting on physical affection. She typed her number in and click on the camera to put your picture on the contact. You smile at the camera with a peace sign. “What was that?” he questioned. “A free picture of a travel journalist and author” she joked. “Wow” he tries to hide his smile but his teeth grin showed. He laughs to himself, “I’ll see you tomorrow” he waved.

With a sheepish smile she walked on the solid ground as if she were in clouds. She couldn’t deny that she enjoyed every moment spend with the boy next door. She quietly made her way inside to make sure to not disturb her parent’s napping. She successfully makes it pass the living room and silently closes the door. The moment she turns around she jumped and made her suitcase fall face on the floor. “Where have you been these past hours young lady” her sister was on her bed sitting, giving her a questioning look. “I was out for a walk” she answered quickly. “With Riki, a male of your age at this night hour” she raised her eyebrow. “Bro he’s a sweetheart, such a gentleman. I should be worried if I were with you at any hour” she mirrored her sisters posture. For a few seconds they hold their stares. Until they break out in laughter, “Ha I wouldn’t trust myself either” she cackled.

“Come sit! how did it go?” she whispered yelled not trying to wake up their parents. “He took me to this hidden area, there were cherry blossom trees and a beautiful lake. And it was so beautiful, this scenery felt special. And then he said ‘Let’s get closer to each other’” her sister gasped. “Lyn you’re getting your drama moment! look at you! I’m rooting for you!” she said getting up from her sister’s bed. The girl couldn’t help but feel her heart do some jumps remembering the moments from before. “Well I’m gonna go to sleep! Good luck little sister” she smiled and closed the door.

She sighed and took out her pajamas, getting ready for bed. Though the vibration of her phone was felt on her bed. She picked up her phone and smiled at what the screen read.

Pleasant palpation was felt around her heart. She felt like she could giggle forever and repeat the images of the boy next door. It felt like comfort was nearing her fate. She went out of her room to the bathroom. She wanted to wash up before going to bed. The thought of tomorrow's plans tried to linger with worry. She tried to get out of the dark corner in her mind, hoping it doesn’t get in the way of tomorrow.

Washing up quickly, she went to her room and looked at herself in the mirror. The girl was trying to calm down, “You will be okay, just calm down, nothing to worry” she whispered to herself. Not even herself was convincing enough. Laying in her bed in the now dark room. The glow of the bear nightlight defined the corners around it. She stared at what was only an endless blank ceiling. She spoke to herself, “Just go to sleep…that will be tomorrow's problem”, and that’s how she fell asleep.

She could hear the shuffling of talks between her parents. And the fading sound of the tea run. Her eyes were feeling heavy until she remembered that she was the one in charge of waking up Riki. She yawned and slowly melted onto the floor. For a good minute, she sat with her head down on the floor. Reality hit, “Why did I agree” she whispered yelled. Lyn wrapped her hands around her hair, pulling them as she screamed quietly. She took out her phone, and it read 4:55 am. The sun was rising at 6:07, so the girl quickly texted the boy to wake up.

Anxious, panicked, in denial? Lyn was having a hard time breathing. “What if he thinks I’m stupid? or a waste of time?” she whispered to herself. She looked out into the darkroom, with light peaking in through her closed door. A sigh leaves the girl, pushing herself up to get ready. She grabs some leggings, a hoodie, and other necessities. She meets with her mother’s puzzled expression, “morning Lyn, why are you up so early?” she questioned. “Oh, I’m going out with Riki to see the sunset,” she said quietly. Her mom raised her eyebrow, "all right then, be careful. Bring your pepper spray”, she warns.

“Mom, Riki is a good guy. He won't hurt me”, her mom pauses herself. Lyn's mom wasn't aware of the adventure the both of them had yesterday. “And how do you know that?” her mom's hands rested on her hips.

“Look at the time mom. You have to get to the hospital. Good luck at work! Bye-bye! Muah! See you!”, she bid goodbye as she locked herself inside the bathroom. Her parents were always protective of their two daughters.

The girl walked into the bathroom to get ready, yet her thoughts wouldn't stop running. She looked at herself in the mirror and said, "why does this have you all rilled up" she commented. The thought that she shouldn't give much importance to the boy next door. She only just met him yesterday, yet her butterflies lean towards him. If it weren't for the lack of her inexperience, she would have been all giddy.

She finishes getting ready and makes her way out the door. The girl ends up getting hit by a warm morning, followed by an invigorating wind. The sky was a medium blue with a waxing crescent on sight. There were street lights to make the surroundings visible. Lyn made her way in between the two houses to meet with Riki. Right at the place of their encounter yesterday.

She is met with the boy standing with two bikes. He still managed to pull off the comforting attire with his balanced proportions. There was an unpleasant drop in her stomach as she prepares to confess to him. "You ready? Here's the bike" his eyes were sleepy, but he managed to smile as he greeted her. "Riki I have something to confess to you" she blurted out. His eyebrows raise, "...go on".

"I wanted to tell you this since yesterday, but I was just so happy at the moment. I get looked down upon because of my age. And I apologize for wasting your time. I'm not physically able to ride a bike". There's a long silence shared between the two, the sound of the morning animals filing it. The boy opens his mouth to speak, "...are you pregnant?" he asked.

"No, I'm nowhere near having a child! Not saying I don't want kids! I would love to settle down one day and have kids. Why am I rambling?" she sighs. "So if you're not pregnant...what do you mean exactly?"

"I never got the chance to learn. I don't know how to ride a bike"

I haven't been active here and I'm really sorry about that. I have like two requests left, and I haven't been able to finish them, so I'm really sorry.

I'm coming here to say that I won't be really active in my account for a few weeks bc there's a lot going on.

My mom got covid a few weeks ago (she already recovered), and I had the same symptoms as her, but she wants me to take a test to confirm if I have the covid antibodies to know if I truly caught it.

Bc the school year is ending in a month, my teachers have left me a bunch of works, I have a research paper that I've been working the whole year, I have a debate next week, have weekly biology quizzes, I have a bad situation at home that we hope that will get solved soon, so I'm mentally exhausted.

And I truly do need a break, so I wil take time to focus on my studies and to focus in my family situation.

I'm so sorry everyone, I promise that I will comeback actively again, upgraded and stronger.
