omg ok i’m gonna assume my other ask didn’t go through either bc it glitched again i hate this app. ANYWAY storytime

so we meet at a party through a mutual friend and i realize he’s hanging around me the entire time

by the end of the night we get each other’s socials and numbers and we start talking because he’s responding to so many of my stories

so this goes on for like two weeks before he switches up and he pulls away from me and ghosts me altogether but he’s active on insta? so i’m like ok idrc i have more important things to worry abt

and then we don’t talk for like a month, then he drunk calls me one night and i thought something happened bc it was like 4am so i respond back when i wake up asking “u called?” and he was like “mb i drunk called but i lowk missed talking to you” and then i respond back to try to start a convo but he ghosts me again

but he was constantly sending me reels on insta alluding to relationships which weirded me out so i deleted all of his messages

then for my birthday he wishes me with like a joke that i’m older than him by so much now (a year difference) and i just say ty and don’t talk to him but he keeps responding back but atp i just didn’t want anything to do w him

but he calls me like a week later saying he had a major life update but when i picked up he was like “oh i didn’t think you’d answer”

the update was something more personal so i won’t say but i had a feeling that wasn’t the only thing he wanted to say - i had a feeling that he got back together with his ex but i didn’t ask further bc it wasn’t rly my place and i was over it i didn’t rly wanna know either

i ended up deleting his number and removing him on my socials but i didn’t block him

but one day in the summer i had a dream that he blocked me so i woke up and checked and he actually did but it was such an out of the blue thing bc he was still sending me reels but i completely forgot abt him immediately after

but today when i went through my blocked list on my spam insta i was like wait who do i have blocked idek them so i look and it’s him and his gf

out of curiosity i looked through her highlights and i find out that they’ve been dating since around my birthday last year and he posted her for national gfs day too

and on her page she posted them and that’s where i found out he was going to yale too

anyway. that’s all i’m over it i think it was just such a huge shocker i was like what in the yfi???

i just read the news abt haknyeon (im the anon from before)... the way ppl refuse to see workers in the entertainment industry (be it for the public like an idol or in mature-related contents) as humans is just sad

i agree !! it's so dehumanizing to treat women like that on top of them already being part of an exploitative industry :// and it reminds me of that time when jeewon from cignature was on a show and the male host was clearly trying to set her up by asking someone who works in the porn industry what they think of her, and they all just laughed when she was clearly uncomfortable after being told she should debut as a porn star. it's just crazy to me that these men encourage women going into sex work and then are the first ones to turn around and belittle them for it

but that being said, apparently haknyeon was engaging in prostitution :/ i'm not sure about the full details but it does feel very icky considering the misogyny issue in south korea and how the men treat foreign women
