Last Life SMP and HYYH: Similar  In Story

With the lore being addressed on how Last Life exists in a time loop, my brain instantly connected it with the BTS Universe, also known as HYYH. Both stories have a strong repetition of events, as well as unintentional character parallels. Both timelines also initially started in the middle half of April. (April 11th and April 20th)

c!Kim Seokjin and c!Grian

The Original Time Looper and The One Who Changed History. I’m talking about both of them here. 

With c!Seokjin, out of desperation of wanting to see his friends alive, he wanted to see them sooner and put himself in a time loop. It really didn’t specify how many times he looped, but he looped a lot. It created alternate universes, and it started from an ominous cat figure. 

“If you can turn back time, do you believe you can strengthen out the errors and mistakes and save everyone”

According to Martyn’s lore, c!Grian went against the Watcher’s rules and went into the game of Third Life and Last Life. He went against what was fated to happen for his friends. Grian wanted a part in this history. And, to save his friends. My headcanon is that he saw his friends in turmoil from the Watchers and jumped in to save them. He made Better Rules than the Watchers in order to make it more enjoyable. 

“He was only supposed to watch.” 

To note, Grian is the admin of the server. c!Seokjin was the start of all the time looping involved in HYYH, and has the main involvement of the time travel in the universe.

c!Kim Taehyung and c!Martyn

Both are cursed with changing the course of the time loop as a whole. In both the Webtoon and the Notes, I know that c!Taehyung has knowledge of all existing time loops via dreams. It is unclear on how or why he gets to see these dreams. Dreams are an existing part of Last Life lore, because it is a reason why the other characters can see other worlds. To note, it is usually implied that c!Martyn is always falling with only the voices of the Watchers to comfort him.

c!Taehyung usually figures things out due to his dreams. He had a suspicion that c!Seokjin was hiding something and he was right in that regard. I mean, seeing recurring dreams of your friend saving you and your friends from dying is bound to raise suspicion. Or, yknow, accidently murdering c!Seokjin. 

For c!Martyn, it's more voices than dreams. But, it is still an outside source that provides information. That puts him in an opposite situation. c!Martyn’s motives are extremely suspicious to those around him. It doesn’t help that the voices favor someone as well. These voices also brought Martyn to a suspicion about Grian. Parallels, anyone?
