i think if c!tommy was a pokemon trainer he'd have a bunch of like, not fully evolved ragtag group of random pokemon hes met that he barely even battles with and c!dream would have a full on competitive team he keeps switching so i imagine:

c!tommy has his starter (a spinarak named shroud), miltank, pancham, venomoth, galarian zigzagoon, and an appletun. they’re all like level minus six bc he is as established a pokemon breeder who barely battles and mostly just takes care of his guys.

c!dream's team currently is gengar, drifblim, gothitelle, hydreigon, hatterene, and kingambit, but he shifts them around when he needs to. he never releases his pokemon (he’s far too clingy) but he cycles them. he’s looking to become a gym leader- hasn’t decided on ghost dark or psychic yet though- and is incredibly ambitious to make his way up the ranks. his true passion is science, though of the type so unethical itd made turo and sada call the police, so he’s not an official professor bc he’d be very arrested. he does his research in secret :D

i shouldn’t be surprised that i got a golden boy ask for this meme but i am god i’m so glad people still like this self-indulgent garbage au

A - this is one of those aus where ash slowly gives up battling competetively in favor of becoming a pokemon master in the more esoteric sense-a person who can bond with and bring out the best of any pokemon no matter how the dynamic measures out. he’s already well on his way to being that kind of person in canon, too, but golden boy ash definitely spends a lot of time travelling quietly in a self-discovery type of way, trying to figure out his own role in the world as a hybrid legendary and what that means for the life he’d carved out for himself as a human without knowing it. it’s good food for thought :U 

B - golden boy ash is shit at keeping things under wraps once the truth really gets out about him and just sorta constantly does things you’d expect out of a cute mascot character. huffing out sparks or flames if he’s annoyed or brushing feathers out of his hair when he pulls off his cap. it’s a hilarious mental image.

C - he gets to understand bits and pieces of the real price of immortality during his journey (meeting victini, watching max and jirachi make friends, etc), but it really doesn’t start hitting him until he starts outliving people, maybe even when they start visibly getting older and here he is still in his prime with some ambiguously young-ish appearance. his old home in pallet town, once delia passes on, ends up being this old place where he stores particularly precious memories, possibly ends up being a graveyard for his own pokes when he keeps on outliving them. it’s a sad, haunted place, even if ash does keep it immaculately clean despite journeying so much. it’s a place he keeps coming home to out of habit, even despite the long years of separation. 

D - canon has sorta squeezed the sass out of ash during the years so even though i adore cinnamon roll chile i still think golden boy ash is sassy af. golden dad au even moreso because he’s sass with class. in fact it absolutely increases once he’s outed as a hybrid to the world at large in golden boy and there’s quite a few years where he’s still very prickly even after having his heart reopened in almia. it doesn’t completely go away and there’s an edge to him that there wasn’t before, but he does manage to retain his all-loving, friendly self in the end.

no, seriously. i remember feeling unwell after sessions which often lasted less then an hour each, and i think it was because of the first person gameplay. but the games feel designed around it, so. fuck. i didnt have this problem with metroid prime, but then again that was completely different, gamecube with faraway tv, when i was younger and had more spoons

most of my au stuff is sourced from wikis and watching cutscenes - sometimes, not even that. except for pokemon and ff14, and i tend to only sit and play ff14 for an hour or so unless im hyperfocused. pokemon? its fuckin pokemon i love it

The C!Prime Primer!

Since I’ve been getting a whole lot of new followers after my Pokemon posts, I’m sure a lot of you are confused about the two little guys I’m constantly posting about. This is the post for that!

What is c!Prime?

c!Prime is short for c!Primeboys. c!Primeboys, or c!Discduo, is the name for the platonic relationship between c!TommyInnit and c!Dream from the Dream SMP.

So, are these real people?

No. c!Tommy and c!Dream are fictional characters portrayed by the YouTubers they are named after. They’re very distinct from their actors.

Didn't you know that the real people involved are problematic?

Yes, you don’t need to tell me and I do not support that. I do not watch or interact with Dream or his content at all, and while I think Tommy is alright as a whole he’s done bad shift I don’t support. I simply don’t see why that should affect my writing of fictional characters they played in a no longer active server.

So, who are c!Tommy and c!Dream?

c!Tommy is a severely mentally ill child soldier who, while loyal and good at heart, hides that behind a mask of toxic masculinity and is just kind of a dickhead teenager a lot of the time. c!Dream is a mad scientist obsessed over the idea of immortality, who hides his emotions and attachments out of fear yet desperately wants friends and family. The two of them are in a deeply unhealthy and abusive friendship, where c!Dream is physically and emotionally abusive towards c!Tommy and conditioning him into seeing him as his only friend.

Is this canon? Was the Dream SMP always like this?

Basically, yeah! While a lot of the content I have about them comes down to personal interpretation, they canonically are part of a storyline about child abuse and trauma.

Why are you so obsessed with Minecraft child abuse?

Multiple reasons. For one, I'm both autistic and ADHD, and it’s both a special interest and a hyperfixation to me. Also, I just enjoy writing horror. But most importantly, the Dream SMP and c!Primeboys storyline helped me come to terms with my own abuse, and I want to help others do that with my own work.

What if I'm uncomfortable with these themes?

Feel free to block the “Primeboys (Derogatory)” tag!

Is this meant to romanticise/glorify/normalise abuse?

Absolutely not. I intend to do the opposite- to depict abuse frankly and to show how horrific it’s effects are. Ideally, I’d like to help others realise what they went through wasn’t okay, as that’s what canon helped me do. I intentionally depict aspects of abuse often not shown- most notably, non-sexual abuse by an unrelated authority figure, the mindset of an abuser, and the mixed feelings a victim might have to their abuser, but this is not to normalise anything. It’s to shed light onto overlooked areas of abuse in the hope it’ll help people realise that this is a part of it.

What's with all the AUs?

I like AUs. Also, I am plagued with visions about them that haunt my dreams.

Why are you so defensive over two Minecraft characters?

Years of harassment. I had a harassment campaign against me accusing me of shipping these two, romanticising abuse, being a predator myself, and in general sending me victim blaming bullshit and gross sexual shit in my inbox since I was a minor myself. I also have moral scrupulousity, and part of that revolves around fiction. Sorry if I’m a bit of a bitch about that, literally just tell me because sometimes I don’t realise it.

so. had thoughts about a dsmp pokemon au.

Clem is like N from Black & White: she can understand, and even speak to, pokemon.

Dream can't. understand them, per se, but he knows like. body language and stuff. y'know what i mean.

Clem was practically raised in the wild by pokemon, three of which are the rest of SBI (Phil is a Corviknight, because Crow, Techno is an Emboar, because Pig, and Wil is a Zoroark, purely because Vibes). they've also got a Leavanny (i think those pokemon sew, like i remember that being a thing), an Eevee (that eventually evolves into a Sylveon), and a Fennekin (Fundy; Wilbur found him and brought him back).

Tubbo and Ranboo are trainers alongside Clem. Tubbo is a Grass and Steel trainer, and Ranboo is a Psychic, Dark, and sometimes Ghost trainer. they both found a Tepig, and they both care for him (guess who this is :])

here's some various things that happen, some funny and wholesome, and others...less so:

- Clem just wandered out of the woods one day, and she met Tubbo after entering the nearby town.

- Clem will sometimes, mid-battle, tell the other trainer if their pokemon isn't doing too hot, even if this hurts her chances at winning the battle. she cares for all the pokemon; she was practically raised by them, after all.

- so. Zoroarks aren't able to actually shapeshift, but they can practically cast an illusion around themself that functions like shapeshifting, and it can even allow them to replicate human speech. Wilbur uses it to look human, so that Clem doesn't have to get people Losing It over the fact that Clem does, in fact, have a pokemon for an older brother.

- c!Prime stuff does still happen. unfortunately

- literally none of Clem's team like Dream. at all. Wilbur is almost constantly glaring daggers at Dream, as a human and as a pokemon.

- Clem is one of those trainers who doesn't keep their pokemon in pokeballs. yes, this does mean that it's constantly followed by six whole pokemon. well, it appears to everyone else like five whole pokemon plus A Random Tall Man With Curly Brown Hair. because Wilbur's a Zoroark

- due to growing up with pokemon in the wilderness, Clem is a lot more knowledgeable in certain survival skills, and it makes them look a bit weird. for example:

Ranboo, coming across a berry tree: aw man, i don't think we can get any berries :( it's fine, we'll just get to a store and-

Clem, who already climbed up the tree and got multiple berries, and is currently handing some to Tubbo:

- so. funny thing: due to Wilbur being known as Clem's Very Human Older Brother, while also being a part of her pokemon team, makes gym battles. Rather Interesting:

Wilbur, clearly exasperated and mildly injured, coming up to hug Clem after she won a gym badge: Wow Clem, you did so well, i'm proud of you! :]

Quackity, who saw five pokemon walk in with the Crimeboys, and then remembers Wilbur "mysteriously" disappearing right before the battle, and then Clem suddenly had six pokemon:
