as nice as this fine dining restaurants are, i'm still missing a buffet style thing. it's just more common food and you can go back as much as you'd like. now that is something i can get behind. although, i am a little curious what it's going to be like to dine like royalty. maybe i should get a permanent room on this ship. don't people do that? like live on a cruise ship for a year or longer because it's cheaper than buying or renting a house? and you never have to cook. @tayalisn

Taylor found herself smiling despite herself. This house held a heavy weight since the loss of Susannah, but the spirit of her lingered in its warmth. In the old movies and laughter, the magic would always live. Taylor didn’t know all that had went on in this house. Yet, the relaying of stories had made her feel the thrumming of it in her bones and the good memories they’d christened it with. the girl found she needed this. This sisterly connection and the good company. Never would she admit to finding Conrad anything other than annoying. There was slight anger in how he’d left belly and Stephen in the dust was one out by the sibling banter. Belly had felt like a husk of the girl that she was until recently. Something made her glisten in this soft lighting. Hazel eyes studied the girl with pickpocket nature as she smiled. Maybe flicking a bit of the pool water her way. It was a new day and the boys hadn’t lovingly popped this little bubble between the two of them. “First, I want to say that I am the best at picking swimsuits,” she mused gesturing to the expanse of fabric running down the other girls form. “Because you look like a model and might just pull the entire rich neighborhood. Girls and boys,” the words accompany a wink before a soft sigh. There was so much left unsaid. So many questions. Part of her wanted to yell, to ask, or hug the other girl, but they were breathing. They were smiling. And that was something. Besides, the testosterone wasn’t getting addictive. “I’m proud of you, girl, handling all this. But I think you need to talk to Stephen- in between moon eyes.”

Actually a little bit sad that I never got to see the Eras Tour. Not completely my own fault as I was just hard at work on some projects. Should've been there for when you brought Brina along as I was just a shitty best friend. I know you're on your last few days of the European dates so my question is, are you doing the States again or is it like all over now? Have to admit that I'm missing the excitement of the Eras Tour. After those five days in a row at Wembley, it's hard to not expect a show a few days later. Am glad I'm also at home with my girl though, the best part I took from the whole tour. What's your life looking like right now? Hope you're taking a bit of a break. @taylorsswlft

You know, not sure if you've seen it but I recently admitted that Black Space is my pump up song. That's my jam. Sadly, I haven't been able to see it being performed live yet. Thoughts of the rain bouncing off the pavement filled River’s mind as she waited for the other to return from the bar. They’d been in this position before and it hadn’t exactly ended well and now for once in her life, River could feel what was definitely nerves creeping into her limbic system. She didn’t like to think being nervous was real because it was just brain signals but boy were her brain signals going haywire. Irrationally so because she and Taylor weren’t like they had been when they’d ‘dated’ originally. That had been awkward and strained. Completely seemingly incompatible but in that rainstorm and Taylor’s apartment, there had been a pull between them like gravity. Like the yearning of the planets for the sun. Eager for its warmth. 

Her fingers wrapped a little tighter around her empty cocktail glass, staring into its crystalised bottom for a few moments until she looked up to see the other coming closer. Her beautiful face and the bounce of her hair. “Thank you. You should have let me get those ones. You got the first ones too.” She said quietly, chewing on her lip. A flash of nervousness hit her again. It felt slightly surreal. Totally irrational. She watched a bead of condensation run down the side of her glass and caught it on her thumb. “Do you want to hear a joke about potassium?” She blurted and then flinched, letting out a groan. “Don’t answer that. Just say kay. Don’t say anything actually.” She rested her chin in her palm, knowing this was very out of sorts for her. “I’m sorry. Just last time we did this I thought you wanted to shimmy out of the bathroom window to escape.” @ncrthernlights​

the tension was starting to drive her crazy. Not just the flirtations between either fisher brother either. The soft weight of ghosts of people and arguments clawed at the air around them. Susannah would have wanted so many things. Her children, including belly,happy most of all. To honor her, the brunette had decided to attempt to breath happiness in this ragtag army. Conrad would be a hard sell on a good outlet. It seemed like apologies were uncommon things. Especially for boys. But she liked that Conrad new how to fight with words. She respected him. The sound of belly’s soft footsteps kissed the pavement away from them. An animated sigh had her leaning further into the beach chair. Dramatics were her specialty, but especially where he was concerned. She liked Conrad. But he tap danced on her last nerve. Her hair was thrown back in a soft braid. The decision to act made in a moments notice. The soft weight of a towel left her hands as she threw it at the sopping wet boy. “We all know you have abs so stop walking around like a sopping wet dog,” she teased. “I was thinking of making food, gremlin, would you be interested or cosplaying as a fish for the evening?”
