Well heres another short story (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ

He didn't know what made him do it. Out of all the things that could have happened Delirious is mostly shocked with himself that he did that out of all things.

It's just... seeing how flustered and frustrated the newbie in the C.S.GS organization was because he got caught up in a Glitch battle with no fighting mechanism was really… endearing. Yeah, that's the word. He didn't think he was cute. Nope. Not at all.

Honestly the Ex-hacker shouldn't even find the situation cute considering the agent could have been seriously hurt in that Glitch battle. Those illegal battle simulations didn’t have any restrictions that normal Glitch battles do; like seriously who the hell wants to actually feel the pain when they battle?

Crazy jumpers that just attacked the Agent apparently do. Delirious considers them both lucky that he was in the area talking to Ohm when he felt the sudden spike of activity in the net nearby. He got to try out a new move he's been working on and Mr.Agent over there didn't die from internal injuries from being ambushed.

So really he shouldn’t find anything cute but Mr. Agent here is trying hard not to pout for doing a rookie mistake and being saved by what he considers a “punk”. Though the asian man didnt say that personally; Delirious isnt stupid to not think that he doesnt look like a rebel of some sort.

Anyway back to the matter at hand, the agent had turned to face him after he calmed his blush that wouldn’t go away and gave a nod of thanks to the Doctor who didn't even look like a doctor. But Evan already confirmed it when he checked his profile when he first ran into the man a month ago.

“Thanks for assisting me.” He said.

“More like saving you, but yeah no problem!”

The agent glared at him- though his red face didn't really help him be intimidating- and coughed to get his composure back. “As I was saying, thank you. I would have been seriously hurt without your help.” Delirious eye smiled

“Well of course! Who the hell walks these alleyways without some type of defensive mechanism?” The agent glared again at the Doctor’s words and Delirious winced when he remembered that people outside his circle had a difficult time determining if he was serious with his comments or not.

   The agent huffed and looked away; clearly angry with himself and the situation in general.

   This is where Delirious did something that he never thought he’ll do, nevertheless for a person who practically is a stranger. He pulled down his mask.

He pulled down his mask!

And childishly stuck his tongue out at the agent and said “I’m just teasing you my dude! I’m just glad you weren't hurt.”

The shocked look that was thrown his way made him quickly put on his mask back as his actions caught up to his brain and he began to basically scream inside his head.

   But a huff of laughter cut off his internal screaming and Delirious watched the agent look back at him and did a smirk that should be classified as dangerous and illegal to this Ex-hackers poor heart.

“Ya, ok. I can admit I did something stupid but I’m lucky I have an oh so strong Doctor here that can help me.” The agent said with a sparkle in his eye that wasn't there before.

He’s teasing back?!?!? Delirious internally screamed to himself and was very glad for his mask as -to his horror- he felt his face get hot. “Y-yeah.” His voice cracked and the agent’s smirk only grew.

“Oh how the tables have turned.” They both thought and before the Agent could make the Doctor become even more flustered Delirious turned on his heel and began walking down the alleyway.

“Come on, let's get you back to the main road before we get jumped again. I mean it's not like I can't fight them back but I would rather not.” The Ex-hacker said as he addressed the agent who caught up to his stride.

“Thanks I appreciate it.” The agent said as he did that dam smirk again that should totally be illegal. The ex-hacker coughed and continued walking down the alleyway ignoring how his heart thumped painfully in his chest.

It’s been years since he felt something like this. Ever since that virus, he thought he would never get to experience it again. And honestly now that these feelings returned it terrifies him to the core.

Delirious scratched his head and shook the thoughts away. It’s nothing. This is nothing. He’s never going to see this agent again so it’s nothing.

….. if he knew what the future held, Delirious would have known on how wrong he was.

     His words were slurred, and his eyes had long glazed over with the influence of luscious red wine, but you still found it amusing how he managed to stay so clingy—even when drunk. Repressing a giggle, you pressed a quick peck to his forehead. You knew Comte loved a good glass of wine after a long day of heralding the rather rowdy residents of his mansion, but seeing him turn into a wasted, bumbling mess?

      That was the fun part.

      You carefully brush aside a strand of hair falling into his eyes, and he gives the most content sigh a drunk man could give. Thank the heavens that Sebastian had called it a day already. Comte would never hear the end of Sebastian’s rants if the stoic butler was to find out.

       “You’re very pretty,” the golden-haired murmurs, catching your hand in his, “You look a lot like *hic* my wife. They’re very pretty.”

       “Oh?” You bite back a smile, “Are they now?”

       Even the soft lighting inside his office seemed to be giggling, as the Comte cracked a big childish grin.

       “I bring them chocolates often,” he slurs, taking another slopping sip of his wine, “They always smile so brightly when I do. They’re very good chocolates. I would get all the chocolate I can for them if I could see that smile.”

       “Aren’t they a lucky one,” you snicker, feigning innocence, “You must care for them dearly.”

       “They’re the best! They hold my hand and give me the sweetest kisses and- and- oh! I love it when they run their fingers through my hair! They’re so gentle,” he gushes softly, his cheeks flushing a light shade of crimson, “I wanna see them now.”

       “Like this?” You ask, carefully running your hands through his soft hair. He gives a content sigh, nodding, “Just like that… They’re the best!”

       “You must cherish your wife dearly.”

       A drunken nod was what you got in return, followed by a slurred “I *hic* love them so much! I love them with my entire life. Which is a big one.”

       “I’m aware,” you laugh, as he gives another lovestruck sigh. Mere seconds later, he’s sound asleep, carefully tucked away in your arms. You shake your head good-naturedly at your loving husband.

       “I love you too, you cute idiot,” you chuckle, stroking his hair, “And with my entire life, even if it isn’t as big as yours.”
