i just read some of the comments on one of @/mischas's posts where people were talking about the fact that lindsay, and also renée didn't come to caleb's funeral and it genuinely made no sense like why wouldn't they come to it?? this is one of the only things in the show that just makes no sense to me
“It was interesting because right when we started our interactions in Season 4, [it was clear] there was so much history there, which was so fun to play with. Us, as actors, we really weren’t sure what that history waswe knew it was seven years [since the Season 3 finale], but we weren’t really sure how things ended with her and I. We knew that we were separated, but how did that happen? It was just so, so beautiful to be able to go toe-to-toe with her and slowly reveal what our history actually was. And it’s a pretty intense one."
@cagedchoices sent "i love you. i don't know why, i just do." (this is also for Maeve)

The words replayed in her head like the dialogue she had memorized time and time again with West World. In a sense, they felt like a script, a reality she couldn't escape no matter how hard she tried. And it wasn't as though she wanted to escape, that was the least of her worries. The part that made her feel sick, in whatever sense she could, was the reality that the world she could give to him was far less than he deserved. All she could give him was herself, not the typical sense in what people were after. There was no life with her, not one that she understood; at one point he'd grow old, and she never would. The possibility of a family was ever so far away from grasp.
"That's quite the decision, isn't it?" Maeve knew better than to compare it to that. Was love, like existence, ever a choice? It made her skin crawl as she nodded, still keeping her distance between him and the words that filled the space between them.
"How do you know?" The question wasn't meant to be rude, but trying to understand. At her core, she knew she loved him as well, or as much as she could as the sentient being that she was. "How do you know you're not... Just enjoying your time here?"

I’m just...sad. Because season 5 was supposed to bring the answer to the most important question in the show : can we set us free ?
We were supposed to see more of Dolores, Maeve, Caleb, William. It was supposed to be the last round for them, the moment they finally reached the ending they desserve.
And now, we’ll have to live with the fact that the end of the show is that everyone is dead and Dolores is maybe going to fix things. Great.
It’s like if, after Star Wars : Empire strikes back...there was no sequel. Like, it was the end. It’s just so frustrating. I hope that Joy and Nolan will give us at least a scenario of the finale season, tell us what they planned for their characters.
"Good morning!" February 2nd was not just Lulu’s birthday, but Caleb’s as well. There was very little the couple did not share. “How’s like - my Birthday King?” Lulu was absolutely glowing this morning; after all, she loved any reason to celebrate him. Within her hands was a tray that held both their breakfasts. After she set it on the bed, she leaned over and kissed him. "I so totally made all your favorites."
Lulu and Caleb lived primarily in domestic bliss. But even they had their upsets. Lulu looked down at the negative pregnancy test in tears. So badly did she want a family of her own – a family with him. Caleb was the best man she had ever known – it showed in the words of comfort he offered. All she could say was, “I’m sorry…” As if their lack of conception was something she could control.
Caleb knew Lulu’s love language was touch, as so he indulged her. As she fit into his arms so perfectly. Lips melted with one another. It is unsure who started kissing who – but it doesn’t matter. They were together – and they had the rest of their lives. There was comfort in the stability Caleb offered her and in the kisses. “I guess we're just gonna have to like – keep trying.” She sniffled as she nuzzled her nose against his. "Why not start now?" She mustered a small smile.
