Prayer for rain

Prayer for rain

This is a call for prayer for rain.  As we gather this Easter, let us remember the redemption this time is about.  Let us also ask for forgiveness for a state that has forgotten God's ways.

Deuteronomy 11:13-14 "And it shall be that if you earnestly obey my commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart and with all your soul then I will give you rain for your land in it's season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine and your oil."

I do not call the lack of rain a judgement of God, but rather ask that we turn to him that we may cry out to him for help and to give California much needed rain. No amount of legislation is going to make it rain, rather a genuine plea to the Creator will. Whether or not you place your trust in God, I implore you to please send this along that we may humble ourselves this Easter and send out a mighty call to God that we remember him, and ask for his mercy to be poured out in the form of the life giving rain we so desperately need.
