More serious summary of the livestream
Unfortunately I can't provide a full translation because the entire time I was watching in autistic excitement like 😊🥰🤩 whilst my brain melted out my ears and didn't pick up on a lot
Luckily, I have a feeling someone will get around to translating this stream eventually since they finally had the BGM on a lower volume so everyone was audible the whole time Without further ado:
We started with introductions seating order is Yamanaka, Yurina (Es' VA), Minami (Amane's VA), Ryouta (Kazui's VA) and DECO (who dyed his hair blonde) They each have one of the 4th anniversary acrylic stands in front of them The actors have their characters but Yamanaka has Haruka and DECO has Muu
Tumblr media
Yamanaka admitted to being a Haruka oshi/fan
Then Minami talks about being a Fuuta fan (she calls him cool) and she's handed the Fuuta stand and she pushes the Fuuta and Amane stand next to each other (and jokes about their height difference then imitates Fuuta going zenbu zenbu zenbu!)
Tumblr media
But then Yurina sticks her Es stand in between them to separate them
Tumblr media
And then they move the Amane stand next to the Kazui one and everyone coos
Tumblr media
Before moving Amane and Fuuta back together in front of Minami Then they basically just lift all of the stands up on to the table and continue on
Tumblr media
They discuss their thoughts on the trial
Tumblr media
Looking at who got voted inno and guilty Minami is happy Amane got inno but has no idea how Mikoto wasn't guilty They note that the audience wasn't very happy with Kotoko for beating up the other prisoners Then they give some thoughts on the MVs from Daisuki to Deep cover They get most excited talking about Cat and Purge March Kazui says that he was able to put the right emotions into Cat because he recorded the voice drama first Yurina and Minami actually caused the microphone to peak with their excited shrieks at one point (ow)
They answer some audience submitted questions One question was answered along the lines of "Be prepared" One was submitted in English and they tried to but couldn't read it Then they got a question (in Japanese) from someone from 韓国/South Korea [side note: I feel like the south korean milgram fandom has gotten more prominent recently, its always been there but it feels bigger than ever and that's pretty cool]
After audience questions they made a few announcements Some things we already knew, the gratte cafe crossover, the Kotoko line stickers, Earbuds are still on sale (and they're making badges and stuff based on the earbud promo art) the 4th anniversary art/acrylici stands literally in front of them Then some new things: Minigram LINE stamps (everyone was especially pleased for the Kazui XP stamp) There's going to be a part 2 to the Karaoke collab (no details yet other than its coming)
They also announce this year's perk for annual members [the pain of being an annual member but living outside of Japan so you can't get these 😭] Blank lamenated cards of the prisoner's interrogations and a whiteboard pen so you can write your own interro questions and answers They bring out the cards for Kazui and Amane and do some examples
Tumblr media
"Do you like cake?" "I don't eat it."
Tumblr media
"What did you have for lunch today?" "Gyudon." [a beef and rice dish]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then Minami just writes "Toilet paper" in katakana and everyone laughs (Then she writes Toilet paper rap/lap/wrap and I'm not sure what she means)
Most exciting is script books for the Hallucenation liveshow (scripts of the voice dramas and songs) The live show uses condensed versions of the voice dramas but this is the first time we'll have official transcripts of key moments to help check translations with
Then they start saying that T2 was hellish, but T3 is going to go beyond hell: They're going to send everyone to Super Hell And at this point my brain fries and overloads on eeby deeby memes as they all go back and forth talking about Super Hell
They all start doing their outros/saying goodbye
Yurina talks about upcoming challenges we have as guards meanwhile Yamanaka ominously holds the Haruka stand up in frame
Tumblr media
Then that's basically it, not much going on because a lot of stuff (like Hallucenation, the plushes, earbuds) came out right before the 4th anniversary

A Shidou + Dance drabble for anon, thank you for the request! It still has genuine headcanons/characterization, but I definitely went a slightly sillier route (kinda channeling minigram vibes at points...)
“I am not doing that.”
Shidou was always very polite, very calm in the face of any high-energy circumstances, whether it was a medical emergency or a raving party. The situation wasn’t quite either of those, but still he maintained his composure as the prisoners beckoned him forward.
Yuno had cleared away some of the common room tables so she could teach Haruka a dance she’d seen online. His performance had attracted Muu, and their giggles had tempted Mahiru, whose dedication in her wheelchair involved Mikoto, whose teasing had recruited Fuuta, whose yelling had dragged in Kazui, and their spectacle had created an audience of the others.
“Aw, it’s easy,” Yuno was telling him, “just a few simple moves. I’m not asking you to pirouette or anything.”
Through his polite smile, he internally cursed Kazui for joining in; now he couldn’t use the excuse that he was too old for such nonsense.
Not that dancing itself was the issue. Shidou prided himself in being very good at the art: he knew several steps and moves, and had never been known to pinch his partner’s toes. He and his wife had received much praise for their dancing at their wedding. Before his work kept him out through the nights, she had talked him into a few midnight waltzes in their kitchen. He’d help his daughter twirl when she was feeling like a ballerina, and would sway with his son to the same music.
But this amalgamation of hand gestures and hip swaying wasn’t quite the same to him.
He opened his mouth to decline, but a small stare in the corner gave him pause. Amane was watching the scene with feigned disinterest. She watched Shidou for his answer. All week he’d been encouraging her to involve herself with others more, telling her of all the benefits to her mental health. If he wanted even the slightest chance of her taking him seriously, he only had one choice.
“I… will do my best.”
“Great!”
Before he had a moment to second guess the decision, Yuno grabbed his arms and yanked him into the circle. His eyes flashed around the group, quickly calculating the moves in order to follow along. Swing your arms this way, wag your finger that way, raise both hands, turn your body around, and so on. It was fairly repetitive. He had it down in no time.
Or so he thought. Mikoto snickered at him.
“What?”
“You look stiffer than a board. You’re supposed to loosen up, man.”
“I am loose,” he said, his limbs perfectly rigid as he moved them with the music.
Mikoto did the little turn, putting a bunch of extra movement into it. It was uplifting to see him enjoying himself. Ever since he’d left the smoking group, Shidou had been worried about his state of mind. “Not even close. You’re doing even worse than Fuuta, somehow.”
“Hey!”
Mahiru swung her arms to the music. “I think he’s doing very well!”
Yuno was dancing circles around them -- literally and figuratively -- and she seemed to agree with Mikoto.
“Come on, you can relax here! Warden isn’t even around.” She swung her hips in fluid motions. “Let me see some rhythm!”
Shidou joined them for claps in sync with the beat, which he thought demonstrated his rhythm perfectly fine, but she kept prodding.
Finally, he set his jaw. He wasn’t the type of man to get embarrassed. He could care less for appearances. Even if he was that type of person, he’d have reason to agree -- Kazui was completely showing him up.
Though his movements were certainly ridiculous and clumsy compared to the others’, he tried to shift his shoulders and legs in similar motions. It earned him some celebration and some laughs from the others. He bent his knees, trying to put his whole body into the silly steps.
He followed Yuno’s example, letting out a chuckle as he danced more ridiculously than he believed he ever had.
The song picked up, and Shidou turned triumphantly to where Amane sat in the corner. This would be a big step, showing her he was willing to put himself out there for the group. Maybe it would even convince her to come and join the dancers, now that she saw --
Her chair was empty. She had left.

Hey can I just ask what goes on in Milgram. I can't seem to find a proper starting point but what I've seen has me vaguely interested.
Haiya~! I hope you’re ready!!
So basically Milgram is a music project where you see the cases of 10 prisoners who’ve committed murder, and have to vote them innocent or guilty based on if you think their crime was forgivable or not.
Basic Explanation
These prisoners are in an unexplained prison to be judged for their crimes by a character named Es, who stands as an audience insert and reflects our votes and opinions. The prisoners undergo interrogations with Es so we have a chance to understand what kind of person they are. Later, the prisoners have their thoughts analyzed by a machine that creates a music video reflective of their mental state, backstory, and/or thoughts about their murder.
The prisoners are to undergo 3 rounds of voting to decide their final outcome. And so we’re expected to have 3 rounds of songs. Characters react to their votes the prior trial in the next one, so you can see how their mental state develops. Canonically, large gaps of time happen between trials, so there’s also time for characters to interact without us knowing until the consequences show up in the next trial.
Murders range from direct, indirect, and even what many consider to not be murder at all. The prisoners range from an elementary school girl to a guy on the cusp of 40.
How to Watch
The consumption cycle is watching their 10~17 minute interrogation voice drama and their music video. There’s very large gaps in Milgram’s releases, usually a couple months, so it’s a very casual project to just follow IMO.
If you just search “Milgram in order” on YouTube, you’ll probably get a playlist of exactly what you need. Just make sure it’s the one with voice dramas included.
There’s also supplementary materials such as character Q&As, character timeline conversations, and a joke comic called “Minigram.” The Q&As get documented on character wikis, but that’s probably tiptoeing around spoilers, so I’d recommend going at it after you’ve watched everything tbh. And uh idk if the conversations or Minigrams have ever been easily documented in one place. Whoops.
And about voting, you can do that on the official milgram.jp website~ Right now we’re in the voting period of the second round of the last two prisoners. Though of course, there’s spoilers in the site. So probably check it out after you’re caught up
Yeah I think that’s about it~
