Death Bird siblings

I saw a post on Tumblr about someone talking about how it was ironic that the person who died first in secret life was Lizzie who is seen as siblings. Then I realized the first person to die in Real Life was Grian, who can also sometimes be seen as siblings to Jimmy. Like it runs in the family genes. What's even funnier that a head cannon of mine is that Lizzie is a raven who is also a bird associated with death, but now hear me out Crow Grian? So they are all birds relating to death.

Imagine like if someone different dies first next season, and they are a vulture or something. Just a thought.

So about last episode huh?

Most of these are somewhat fusions of animals and bugs to some extent

SECRET LIFE SPOILERS:

But the fact that Mumbo’s last words were almost exactly the same as they were in Last Life. Both times he is killed directly after Jimmy.

Last Life: OH! OH! JIMMY’S GONE! What! You just killed Jimmy!! You just killed Jimmy!

Secret Life: OOOOOH! JIMMY’S GONE! Jimmy’s gone!

Both times he immediately cries out with a sort of shocked and anguished cry of despair and disbelief at the loss of his friend only to join him soon after. It’s like the Canary’s Miner that refused to leave its bird. Once the Canary dies, that is usually the Miners signal to get out or death will follow, but when the time came, he couldn’t do it. The Miner is so overcome with grief at the loss of its bird that he can’t bring himself to leave it behind, and so he is inevitably lost too.

BRo i have not slept, all the videos for secret life release between 10 pm and 4 am and as soon as i found out what happened with the canary curse i had to draw it so i pulled an allnighter, i hope you like it.

i am going to bed now , the sun is up.

also how dare he slightly break the curse right as it half way through working on a canary curse animatic.

I made a series of card designs based on the canon and fanon curses from the life series!

The Canary Curse:

Based on the tale of miners bringing a canary in a coal mine to test the air. If the bird dies, the air is unsafe. This player will die first.

The Widow Curse:

This player is fated to final kill a close ally, friend, or partner. They make close connections that ultimately are betrayed, purposely or accidentally.

The Red Insanity Curse

This player will go insane once reaching their final life and gain a bloodlust that reaches beyond anything in their previous lives. They become reckless and completely unhinged.

The Enchanter Curse

This player gains an unhealthy obsession with enchanting tables to the point of life loss, endangering allies, and losing everything.

The Coal Miner Curse

Also a reference to the canary in a coal mine. This player will die directly after the canary

The Isolation Curse

This player will die alone away from anyone else, or to an act by their own hand.

The Allies Blessing

Rather than a curse, this card is a blessing. Allies or players who have landed themselves in good graces with this player will come to win a season in the near future.

The Winners Curse:

The final player of a season, the winner, will die after winning. To their own hand, or by other means.

Some curses are now broken! I still wanted to draw them despite that lol

Definitely not the final product, but here's the concept for the Life Series!Jimmy Solidarity cardigan idea that's been rattling around in my brain for a while. I've already got a manufacturer lined up and I'm currently refining the design/working on a tech pack! The image above is the original idea, but it's changed a bit since then. Keep an eye out because I plan to post the final design soon as well as an interest form for any intrigued parties!

(I also have ideas for a bunch more people! I've got rough drafts for Tango, Cub, Grian, Skizz, Martyn, Scott, Xisuma, and Zed!)

Something that upsets me so much is that no one seems to remember/talk about the fact that even before Martyn, Jimmy did a job for the Listeners!

On EVO after they beat the Ender Dragon they all got sent back to spawn, but minus Grian (cuz he joined the Watchers) AND JIMMY. Jimmy got sent back before them, and he was given the job of going around and placing books in everyone's bases to tell them to get their stuff and move far away.

I will hold onto the belief until the day I die that the Watchers saw that and decided when they started the Traffic Light Games that because Jimmy did the Listeners' work, they would curse him to die first every time. Hence, the Canary Curse.
