brought myself a new phone case to trick myself into thinking i got a new phone

i dropped my phone in water and it’s fine but i need advice Blease n thank u!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im a fucking dumbass i was doing the dishes n scrolling through tungle @ the same time on my phone which was perched on this shelf thing we have next 2 the sink because Cant Stop Wont Stop (IM A FUCKING IDIOT?) n i hit my head on a cabinet door when i was reaching up 2 get more dishes bc i wasnt paying attention!!!!!!!! lmao classic!!!!! and as a result i slammed the door in Anger bc im a goddamn mess and my phone fell in2 the sink which was full of water (my phone's display was on @ the time i had literally last touched it like 5 seconds earlier) and i MCFREAKIN LOST IT n immediately pulled it out (like within a second or two of it falling) n took off the case??? i didnt turn it off tho and idk if i should have done that but its working fine other than the speaker which is kinda. garbled n creepy sounding now (the sound is fine w headphones tho) and. i even plugged it in which is probably a dumb move but it was on 8% and i?? IDK IM AN IDIOT but its even charging and its fine!! i think it might have been bc i have an otterbox defender and i had the ports closed so it probably saved my phones Ass byt still im shaking. its been like an hr now and its perfectly fine except for the speaker but everywhere im reading says dont plug it in, dont use it, turn it off and????? ITS WORKING FINE SO IDK IF I SHOULD and ur supposed 2 turn it off so it wont short circuit but it hasnt??? and idk if it will like the water should b drying by now right?? IM SCARED THO im scared if i turn it off it wont turn back on and. im just abt 2 mcfreakin lose it im so goddamn Dumb and every choice ive made within the past hr has been Bad and everyone is mad @ me understandably. so idk do u guys think i should turn off my phone?? its @ like 40% rn i was thinking maybe i could turn it off for the night n let it sit in rice or smth and then in the morning take it out and turn it on but im just. scared shitless that if i try 2 do that it wont work or smth else will get fucked up. idk this has happened 2 me before w so many things and i never soaked it in rice i alwasy just turned it off for the night or smth or like. carried on idk? and it worked fine? ?? but this is an iphone and its expensive as hell and we. cant afford a new one lmao im Screwed 2 the Moon!!!!! idk if anyone has any advice or w/e that would b rly great?? (also its an iphne se and its supposedly more waterproof than other iphones but. idk. if the speaker is the only thing thats fucked up ill take it tbh) sorry for ranting n generally being a nuisance n publicizing the results of my dumbassery!!! i am such a Fool i will b repenting this carelessness 4 the rest of my Got Dam Life. but if anyone has suggestions / advice for what i should do i'd rly appreciate it, thanks n sorry again djfhgfdkhgjs i am so anxious over this i am Shaking,
