X knew he was lucky. Not many people had such a large family of friends, willing to move from one world to the next but remaining neighbors all the same. With such a large group they needed a spokesperson and Xisuma was willing, but they all met regularly and voted on changes. The others helped with other administrative duties and all in all, Xisuma's luck might never run dry. Every season had been perfect, fun, exhilarating.

Except... for season 8, of course. But that was a fluke. The Void had been angry with them, though X still wasn't sure why, and then the moon destroyed...

Xisuma shook his head. Season 8 was in the past. They were in season 10, now, with fresh blood - Skizz and Joel were perfect additions, it was no surprise the vote for their additions were unanimous. Xisuma was pretty sure Gem planned to smuggle Skizz in if it wasn't.

Either way. Xisuma took a step back from the building holding his merry band of idiots. He set his hands on his hips and smiled.

It was a new season. Nothing could go wrong.
