Natsumi’s Valentine
Next Gen: Natsumi (next gen) is ready to take Valentine’s Day to the next level. It’s time to confess her feelngs!
Blissful singing could be heard by anyone who walked closer to Natsumi’s dorm. She sat on her bed, singing the tune to a well-known song about a certain February holiday. Valentine’s Day was a day that Natsumi held dear; she had yet to have a special someone on the day of Cupid, but this year, she planned on changing that.
Next to her backpack was a heart-shaped box, and inside were an assortment of freshly-made chocolates she had her mother help her make during the weekend. All she had to do now was write a note to that person she planned to give the chocolates to - her best friend, and now crush, Kazuki.
Writing his name was the easy part. Her singing quieted down when she got to writing hers, followed by a heart. Her singing came to a halt while she tried to think of what she was going to write after that.
In the romance novels and manga she read, Valentine’s Day was always used as a perfect opportunity to confess romantic feelings, so she figured writing a letter to this special someone would be easy enough. She tapped the tip of her pencil on her chin in thought.
“I can’t say that I love him,” Natsumi mumbled to herself. “It’s too early.” Natsumi looked over at her bookshelf and stared at the ridiculous amount of pink-spined books. “What did some of the girls do in their stories?” She crawled out of her bed and blindly picked one book to flip through, then another, and another. A grim look was painted on Natsumi’s face when she saw how so many times, the heroine in the novel would fail on Valentine’s Day.
“Maybe it’s too soon to confess,” Natsumi groaned. “Kazuki was just dumped three months ago...perhaps he isn’t over the break up.” Her hands began to tremble. “What if he’s hoping his ex will come back to him? What am I going to do?”
Natsumi sighed heavily to calm herself down. “Nah, this is the perfect time to confess! After all, we’ve got a childhood friends trope. Once he gets these chocolates, and I confess my feelings, I’ll be in his arms in no time! He’ll realize he likes me back, and then we’ll kiss!” Her cheeks flushed in her favorite shade of pink, followed by a squeal of delight. “There’s no way he’ll think I’m screwing with his mind tomorrow! Kazuki will be my boyfriend tomorrow. I’ll make damn sure of it!”
Lunch break had started, and Natsumi hadn’t seen Kazuki all day. She had been purposefully avoiding her friend in order to prepare herself for her confession. Throughout the morning, Natsumi refused to let the box of chocolates out of her sight. She may have gotten a few strange looks from classmates with how determined she looked whenever she glanced at the box. For the first time in Natsumi’s school life, she didn’t care how her peers saw her. What mattered to her was making sure she’d get this moment with Kazuki down perfect. When she wasn’t scribbling down notes, she was scribbling things she planned on telling him.
When lunch break started, she sat at her usual spot in the cafeteria and waited for Kazuki. She started to worry when Kazuki hadn’t arrived. Natsumi took deep breaths to calm herself down. She wasn’t going to let his absence psych her out. A few more minutes passed, and finally Kazuki showed up. He ran over to Natsumi with a panicked look on his face.
“Sorry I’m late!” Kazuki announced. “I’ve had a bit of an interesting morning.”
“What would that be?” Natsumi asked. She kept her fingers crossed he wasn’t going to say a girl asked him out.
“Well, to start things off, when I got to my classroom this morning, my desk was stacked with chocolates!”
Natsumi’s eyes widened. She knew Kazuki tended to have admirers, but the idea of him receiving so much chocolate bewildered her. “Who were they from?” she asked, a sting of jealousy creeping into her voice.
“That’s the funny part,” Kazuki said. “I read the tags of who they were from, and it looked like they were all from Kari’s friends.”
“...But your sister is in middle school.”
“That’s what’s confusing me! How did a bunch of middle school girls get into Hope’s Peak, figure out which classroom is mine, and then pick out my desk?”
“Your guess is as good as mine.”
“Then, with that stack of chocolate, it was tough to take notes in class since there was no room for my notebook. Then,I had to figure out how to get all those boxes into my locker. That’s why I’m late meeting you. It’s going to be worse trying to get them in my room.”
“Were there any not from middle school girls?”
Kazuki shook his head. “If I were getting any from someone here, they’d probably give them to me in person.  What about you?”
Natsumi also shook her head. “I never get chocolate, you know that.”
“Maybe this year will be different. I think-” Kazuki soon looked over and noticed Natsumi fumbling with a heart-shaped package. “What’s that?”
Natsumi quickly hid the box. “Nothing.”
“I know what that is. You have a box of chocolates!”
Natsumi puffed her cheeks as she blushed. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“You can’t hide things from a detective,” he teased. “So who are they for?”
Natsumi’s stuttering became inaudible. In her mind, she couldn’t figure out why she couldn’t say they were for Kazuki.
“I didn’t know you had a crush on anybody! Are you gonna give me a name?”
“Hell no!” she blurted out. “I’m not saying anything!”
“Wow, I can’t remember the last time I saw you shy,” he chuckled. “This guy must really be amazing to make you stutter like this.”
“That guy is you, you idiot,”  Natsumi grumbled in her thoughts. “I should just give him the chocolate now. At least it’ll shut him up.” She couldn’t seem to raise her hands and give him the box. “Why can’t I do it? What the fuck, Natsumi?”
Natsumi was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t realize she was mumbling out loud. She came to when Kazuki waved his hand in front of Natsumi’s face.
“If you need help, I can do whatever I can,” he suggested.
“Like what?” she said as she snapped out of her daze.
“I dunno, maybe pretend I’m the guy you like.”
“Are you fucking serious?”
“Just practice what you want to say to your crush as if I’m him. It’s helped us in the past, it should help now.”
“This guy is a fucking detective and can’t figure out I’m drooling over him? Okay, I could use this moment to confess. I got this. I can do this!”
“You’re a dumbass!” Natsumi blurted out.
Kazuki blinked. “...I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t say that to him.”
Natsumi slammed her head on the table. “It’s hopeless,” she groaned.
“Come on, you can do this. You’re not the type to give up so easily. I have another idea. Do you have his number?”
Natsumi hesitated. “...I do.”
“Tell him that you want to meet him after school, and then give him the chocolates! If you’re having trouble speaking, I’m sure the gesture would be enough for him to understand!”
“...Alright I’ll do it.”
Kazuki flashed a smile. “That’s the Natsumi I know! Are you going to message him now?”
“No!”
She barely paid attention in the last segment of her classes. She focused on her phone the entire time while lingering over a written-out message for Kazuki to meet her after class. She figured that once the message was sent, he’d realize right away the chocolates she tried to conceal were for him. But that was what she wanted, right? She bit her lip and added to her message that she wanted to tell him how things went between her and her mystery crush. After that, she sent the message.
“Why the hell can’t I tell him how I feel?”
Natsumi yanked the tag off the box.
Natsumi looked gloomy when Kazuki walked to her side. She slightly glanced over, and it didn’t take a detective to realize something was wrong. He noticed she still had her box of chocolates in her hand, though she wasn’t attempting to hide them like she did at lunch.
“It didn’t go well, huh?” Kazuki asked after a few moments of silence.
“I couldn’t tell him,” Natsumi admitted. “Apparently I’m that big of a coward. Saying something as easy as an ‘I like you’ apparently got the best of me.”
Kazuki scratched the back of his head. “Well, it’s not that easy. I’ve had my share of trouble confessing. The fear of rejection is scary.” Kazuki looked down. “Even then if they accept it’s not like you’re together forever. I know that all too well…”
Natsumi looked at Kazuki to see his eyes shaded with sadness. It was that moment she realized Kazuki had yet to completely get over his latest heartbreak, like she suspected the night before. Gathering her courage, she inched closer to her friend.
“Hey,” she mumbled. “How long is it gonna take for you to stop thinking about that bitch?”
Kazuki sighed. “Natsumi, she’s not-” he bit the inside of his lip. “I probably should work on getting over her.”
“No shit. She dumped you for a dog fucker. You deserve better.”
“I am that better.”
Kazuki smiled softly and laughed hesitantly. “I guess you’re right. Well, happy singles awareness day to us-oomph!”
Natsumi slammed the box of chocolates into Kazuki’s abdomen. She kept her head tilted so she couldn’t see her face.
“Natsumi, what are you-”
“Just take ‘em,” she grumbled.
“But these were for-”
“I don’t wanna look at them anymore. They’re handmade, so I don’t want them going to waste.”
Natsumi glanced over at Kazuki quickly to see a small dust of pink on his cheeks. He took the box from her hands.
“Well, thank you, Natsumi.” He opened the heart-shaped box and took in the detail of each piece of chocolate. “These look nice. You made them all by yourself?”
“My mom helped,” she mumbled.
“Do you mind if I try one now?”
“They’re yours now; I don’t care what you do.”
Immediately, Kazuki popped the smallest piece of chocolate in his mouth. His eyes widened in shock, followed by a smile.
“Natsumi, this is really good!” he exclaimed.
Natsumi looked over at Kazuki, who looked as if he were hesitating to eat another piece. Temptation got the best of him, and another piece of chocolate was eaten.
“I kinda feel bad for the guy these were meant to be for. He’s definitely missing out.”
Natsumi couldn’t help the smile on her face.
“He likes them.”
Kazuki closed the box of chocolates. “I’m gonna have to stop now so I don’t eat them all right away. Thanks again, Natsumi. I know you said they were for someone else, but it means a lot that you gave these to me.”
“It does?”
Kazuki nodded. “Of course. These mean more than the ones I got from all those middle school girls. I mean, they came from you, and you gave them to me in person. Even if you gave these as a friend, it means a lot.”
“Goddammit, Natsumi, fucking confess already!”
Natsumi’s inner thoughts were halted when she felt herself being wrapped in Kazuki’s arms. Everything she was thinking about suddenly was replaced with screaming.
“You’re a good friend, Natsumi,” he said affectionately. When he pulled away, Kazuki looked satisfied with himself, though Natsumi couldn’t figure out where in the world that satisfaction came from. “So, I’m going back to my dorm to study. Maybe after we can go to the rec room and play a game?”
“Yeah, that sounds nice.” Natsumi found herself smiling, though she couldn’t figure out why. She couldn’t confess her feelings, and they’d spend another day as friends and nothing more.
“Great! I’ll message you when I’m done. See you then!”
“Yeah. See you later.”
Kazuki walked back to his dorm with a smile on his face. Once he had his back turned, Natsumi placed her fingers against her lips. She still was smiling.
“I managed to give him the chocolates. It wasn’t a perfect moment, but I still did it! He looked so happy eating them. Not only that, but he hugged me! Kazuki was so happy!”
Natsumi’s hands slid down to her arms.
“Today was a success after all.”
While studying, Kazuki mindlessly ate chocolate after chocolate. He only paid attention when his left hand couldn’t pick up a piece. He looked over to see he ate the entire box of chocolates. He smiled sheepishly.
“Those didn’t last long,” he chuckled.
Kazuki leaned back in his chair and stared up at the ceiling.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Natsumi so flustered until today. She couldn’t even pretend I was her crush, like we used to do. Then, she texts me to meet her after class after I suggested the idea to tell her crush that. She couldn’t even look at me when she gave me the chocolates.” Kazuki tapped the pencil he held on his cheek. “Could it be that I was her crush? Nah, that’s ridiculous. I’m thinking too much into it.”
Kazuki continued his studying.
“What a strange holiday.”

Number 2 was made for Naegiri, please and thank you Capn.
It was
2. “Babe I would still love you if you were an egg, I just thought you should know.” “…Okay…”
“You know,” Kyoko slurred while her head was planted right in Makoto’s lap, “you have such an interesting name.”
“Makoto?”
Makoto looked down at his girlfriend, whose face was the reddest he’d ever seen. She wasn’t embarrassed, or blushing from being so close to him. The tint of her face had nothing to do with them as a couple. It had to do with the amount of alcohol she decided to consume that evening.
It wasn’t often Kyoko indulged herself on such beverages. When she did, it was usually in the company of her own home, away from anyone who would see her in a state of drunken weakness. Only Makoto had that privileged. Even then, she wouldn’t disclose just how much she drank. All she’d say was “Just one.”
“No, not Makoto,” she hummed. “Makoto is a nice name. But Naegi…it’s so strange.”
“It’s not the most common family name,” Makoto muttered. “Is that it?”
Kyoko shook her head and buried herself deeper in Makoto’s lap, which made his body stiffen.
“Egg,” she mumbled in English. “Nai-Egg-Ee. In English, you’re an egg.”
Makoto knew sometimes Kyoko would get philosophical when under the influence, but not like this. Was this even philosophy to begin with?
“It’s okay though,” she continued. “I would still love you if you were an egg.” She turned her head so she could look up at Makoto in the eyes. “I just thought you should know.”
Makoto’s smile curved into something more of concern. “…Okay…Kyoko, I think you should go to bed.”
She buried her head in his lap again. “Maybe I should crack you open like an egg…”
“Yep, you’re going to bed right now.”

Number 1 with elements from 4 and Kyoko as the drunk? Essentially "You should date me, we both know you like me and guess what? I like you too. ;)" And yes, the winky face is mandatory.
1. “What time is it?“ “I dunno like four–” “No, its time for you to date me!”
Earlier in the evening, Kyoko Kirigiri was in high spirits. To celebrate such a good mood, she invited her dear friend, Makoto Naegi over to her apartment for dinner and a few drinks. Whatever Kyoko had purchased for drinks was rather strong for Makoto. He had to stomach the entire beverage; not finishing it would be rude, Makoto thought. Kyoko didn’t seem phased by the drink at first, as she finished two glasses.
Not even halfway through the third Kyoko’s mannerisms were affected. The biggest hint that the alcohol affected her was her constant hiccuping, and the red shade of skin across her cheeks. To keep her balance, Kyoko had sat upright, but leaned her head on Makoto’s shoulder.
“Makoto,” she mumbled, “Makoto what time is it?”
“I dunno,” he replied. Makoto reached for his phone in his pocket. “like four-”
“No.”
Makoto looked over at Kyoko in shock. Why would she ask for the time if she was only going to deny it? He saw her smile was curved into a more playful one.
“It’s time for you to date me.”
Makoto’s face was already hot from the drink, but her sudden forwardness caused him to burn up even more. “W-What?”
“You heard me, Makoto,” she continued. She placed her slender, gloved fingers on Makoto’s cheek, and slowly they trailed down to his chest. “I think we’ve spent enough time not dating. I’ve seen the way you look at me. It’s obvious that you like me.”
“W-Well,” Makoto stuttered, “I mean, am I really that-”
“Shhhh,” Kyoko’s fingers were back to Makoto’s face, now covering his lips. “You don’t need to hide your feelings for me. We don’t need to hide anything anymore.” Suddenly her face was getting closer to his. The smell of alcohol burned Makoto’s nose. “I like you too,” she whispered. She pulled away so Makoto could see her wink at him.
She tried to get closer to Makoto once more, only for him to cut her off. She was drunk, he’d never take advantage of her like this!
“How about we go on a date tomorrow?” he nervously suggested.
Kyoko’s shoulders slumped. She then buried her face in Makoto’s shirt. “…fine. You’re too drunk to go out anyway.”
Makoto couldn’t stop the laugh that escaped his throat.

Can you do 6, 11, 12, and 15 too? :D
I assume for Mixed Bathroom, yes?
6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?
I literally think this is the fic I’m going to be most known for. I think that’s what makes it stand out.
11: What do you like best about this fic?
I guess I like how it kinda opened up the doors to finally being able to write Naegiri in a fluid way. I was having a rough time with the first fics I did, and I think this one finally hit the nail.
12: What do you like least about this fic?
Um...What I didn’t like about the fic I ended up fixing in a later version. Originally the romance seemed rather rushed. But one thing I noticed is I constantly write “Which he/she would never admit”
15: What did you learn from writing this fic?
If you write a fic about two naked teenagers in a bath making out, you’ll make friends and acquire fanart lmao.
But in all seriousness, I got to write Kyoko being a tease and showing that she is human. I got to write a flustered Makoto and make it feel believable. It just opened the door for me being able to write these two better.

For "Til..Do Us Part", numbers 3-5 :)
3: What's your favorite line of narration?
Their ceremony was something you’d expect from two children. They didn’t have much information regarding weddings, and didn’t expect they could do much living in a school. They pretended the greenhouse was the outside world. Makoto had made a flower wreath for Kyoko to wear, and he picked a flower to place behind his ear, since he couldn’t get anything to sit well with his clothing. Makoto also took the liberty of making rings out of flowers. He knew they wouldn’t last long after being picked, but he was insistent they have rings. Perhaps they could make better-looking ones in the art room. While Makoto slipped the flower ring onto Kyoko’s gloved hand, he saw the widest smile he had ever seen her have, to the point where her mouth had opened slightly.
Probably because this is what I wanted to write. Though I may do it again if I had the chance to make it better.
4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?
“I’d rather have the name of the man I am in love with. That man opened himself up to me from the start. When I told him he had to earn my trust, he did so with no hesitation. He made me feel emotions I thought I had thrown away. He made me realize it was okay to be close to someone, and that one bad experience shouldn’t dictate my future. It’s because of him-” Kyoko placed her hand against Makoto’s cheek, “Because of you, that I truly think there is hope left in this world. Therefore, I’d rather take your family name.”
I’ll be honest I have no idea why I like this.
5: What part was hardest to write?
Probably the dialogue that led them to talk about marriage. That’s kind of something where I had no idea how it would come natural in their conversation.

number 4. we all know what ship at this point ;3
4. “Psst listen, if you ask me out, I might just say yes.” “We’ve been dating for three years.” - Naegiri
Makoto Naegi was already adorable to Kyoko Kirigiri. There were moments where she thought there was no way he could get any cuter. That was until one night, during a party for the third anniversary of the rebuilt Hope’s Peak, Makoto had too much to drink.
He smiled and giggled the entire time, and Kyoko couldn’t help contain a smile of her own seeing him inebriated. As long as he didn’t get into any trouble, Kyoko thought he’d be okay. By the time he was to the point of falling down just by walking a straight line, she made sure to cut him off. She also kept herself right next to him.
Another thing she learned about drunk Makoto was that he was much more able to say his feelings without being embarrassed. Makoto hooked his arm around Kyoko’s and nuzzled the sleeve of her shirt adoringly. He’d constantly tell Kyoko she was pretty and couldn’t believe a person like her existed in his life.
“Psst, listen,” Makoto whispered. Kyoko slightly flinched when she heard Makoto whisper in her ear. She had no idea Makoto had moved so close to her face. She swore he was still rubbing against her arm.
“If you ask me out, I might just say yes.”
With that, Kyoko cracked a small laugh, but managed to keep her lips closed. Apparently under the influence, Makoto had completely forgotten what they were to one another.
“Makoto,” she said as calm as she could, “We’ve been dating for three years.”
She looked over to see his eye sparkle in pure, intoxicated bliss. “I really am the luckiest man in the world!” Makoto then continued to squeeze her arm and rub his cheek on her.
Makoto may have been the happiest, dorkiest drunk in the world, but at that moment in time, he was Kyoko’s happiest, dorkiest drunk.

3 and 4 for "Mixed Bathroom" . It's my fave.
How much you wanna bet I’m going to be “that person who wrote the bathroom fic?”
3: What’s your favorite line of narration?
Makoto took a deep breath to try and calm down. Not only was Kyouko calm, but she sure was smooth when it came to showing affection. This was affection, right? Of course it was! Though, Makoto knew how hard Kyouko fought to hardly display her feelings, since she considered emotions and feelings to be a person's vulnerability. It must have taken a lot for her to put her head on his shoulder.  A sudden thought filtered through his multiple questions he had from before. He thought that if Kyouko could find the courage to dare and be close to him like this, he could do the same for her! After all, Makoto liked Kyouko a lot. Makoto stretched his arm out, and nervously, despite him telling himself to be brave and cool like Kyouko, put his arm around her shoulders.
You know I found myself liking more than one narration but I think this one is pretty good. Though this probably is the added narration after I went through it again.
4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?
I’m torn between these two.
"That can't be right!" he declared. "A girl like you never been kissed before? Guys should have been falling for you left and right!"
and
"You also bring out the good in everybody, and you see the potential in everybody. It's...attractive."
I can’t decide. Both were pretty good from when I wrote that.

Number 10 with- do I even have to say it at this point? xD
10. “You’re so pretty, just don’t tell you that I told you, okay?” Naegiri
At the moment, Kyoko wasn’t sure who spiked the drinks, but she would figure out soon enough. However, her main priority was taking care of a certain boyfriend who didn’t realize the drinks were tampered with, and had drink after drink. Kyoko probably should have paid more attention to Makoto, but what’s done was done.
Makoto, being the affectionate drunk he was, rested his head tenderly on Kyoko’s shoulder. He’d lightly play with the folds on her blouse, and sometimes would play with the bottom of her skirt.
At some point in time his hands wandered away from her clothing and now were tangled up in her long, lavender hair. She looked down to see Makoto, who she guessed was trying to braid her locks. She wasn’t sure if Makoto knew how to braid in the first place. From the looks of it, he was failing miserably. He gave up shortly after and continued to comb his fingers through her hair.
“Gosh, Kyoko,” Makoto mumbled while he brushed her hair against his cheek. “You’re so pretty.”
Kyoko felt the blood rushing to her cheeks. Makoto had called Kyoko pretty many times, but there was just something about his drunken touches that made her warm. Perhaps it had to do with how Makoto wasn’t nervous to compliment her on her complexion after a few drinks.
“Thank you,” she replied softly.
“Just…don’t tell you that I told you, okay?” Makoto replied. “It’s kind of embarrassing.”
Kyoko cracked a small smile and chuckled slightly. “It’ll be a secret between us,” she said.
“Good,” Makoto mumbled. His head started to slip down from her shoulder to chest.
Kyoko for sure needed to find the culprit behind the drink spiking. It would have to wait for now.

2, 5, 11 and 12 for The Naegi Family Vacation on Jabberwock Island?
2: What scene did you first put down?
I don’t get this question, like first one I wrote? First one I thought of?
I’m kinda dumb and write in order so the first paragraph of chapter 1 was the first one I wrote. First one I thought of...that was so long ago...I guess I just thought of a little Kazuki on the beach with his parents and went from there. It also stemmed from an idea someone had a while back about the couple having their honeymoon on Jabberwock.
5: What part was hardest to write?
So either the first chapter, or one of the middle chapters when not much was going on, like chapter 4. After chapter 1 came out, I almost immediately wanted to delete the fic and start over. And the mid chapters just didn’t have much and I needed to extend the fic to make it look like a week had passed.
11: What do you like best about this fic?
It’s fluffy and cute. Writing the kids was fun.
12: What do you like least about this fic?
Trying to shove all the Class 77 kids in one fic. That was hard and I’m never doing that again.

Can we please have naegiri #8 “Why is your face bleeding?” “I was fighting for your honor!”?
#8 “Why is your face bleeding?” “I was fighting for your honor!”
Some people aren’t the smartest after a few drinks. Makoto Naegi was one of them.
After a couple drinks at a Future Foundation get-together, Makoto was already feeling a tingling sensation in his legs. After another drink, he lost any capability to make wise decisions.
While he wandered the crowd of Future Foundation members, Makoto’s ears caught someone saying the name of his branch leader, Kyoko Kirigiri. He overheard someone speaking about he in a way that was so vulgar, disgusting, and downright rude. Makoto wouldn’t allow anyone to talk bad about such an amazing person that was Kyoko Kirigiri! Makoto used the courage he managed to gain from his drinks to confront the person.
“Hey!” he shouted. “You don’t talk about Kirigiri like that!”
The person looked over at Makoto. They smirked at the rather scrawny, and drunken boy. “And I suppose you’re gonna stop me, loverboy?”
“Hell yes I am!”
The next moments were a bit of a blur. Makoto was punched in the face a few times, that blood trickled down his forehead. Thanks to the training he went through after joining the Foundation, he kept his consciousness. What was unknown to Makoto, was how he managed to find Kyoko Kirigiri. He looked at her in the eyes with determination. Kyoko, however, looked slightly concerned.
Kyoko placed her gloved hand on Makoto’s forehead to push his bangs away. Her mouth slightly opened at the sight of blood.
“Why is your face bleeding, Naegi?” she asked while she took a cloth to wipe the blood away.
“I was fighting for your honor!” he replied triumphantly.
Kyoko’s nose crinkled from the scent of alcohol on Makoto’s breath. She should have known he’d do something foolish under the influence. After she was done cleaning up his injury, she took him by the arm.
“Come, Naegi. Let’s get you a glass of water.”

6. “Is there a reason you’re naked in my bed?”
The day couldn’t have been more stressful for Kyoko Kirigiri. She had been focused on finding leads for the case her father had put her on in regards to shady events happening at Hope’s Peak. There was road block after road block, and she didn’t have time to bypass them today.
Kyoko sighed heavily, and walked inside her dorm room. She thought perhaps a nice, hot shower would allow her to unwind, at least a little bit.
Her eyes widened, only to squint a second later to see a young, scrawny boy sitting on the edge of her bed, dripping wet, and not wearing any clothing. She tried to conceal the blush that raced to her cheeks, especially when the boy, Makoto Naegi, looked over at her, horrified.
“...Naegi,” Kyoko said as calm as she could, “is there a reason you’re naked in my bed?”
Makoto stuttered, “T-This is your room?!”

For that fanfic ask, lets say 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, and 13 and lets go with Surprise! You Have a House Guest!
3: What's your favorite line of narration?
Slowly, the teen opened the door and crept inside. He had no idea how long he had to find what he was looking for, so he made sure to move as quick as he could. In plain sight, Kazuki spotted the bag his father took to work every day.  He lunged at the bag and peered inside in hopes that his father had brought home what he had been looking for. Yet again, luck was on Kazuki’s side : he spotted the accordion folder with his class number on it. He slipped the folder out of the bag, and stuffed it inside his vest. With the information he now had, Kazuki slipped back out, and leisurely walked to his bedroom, as if he hadn’t done anything suspicious.
This kinda describes how Kazuki would sneak around and kinda use his training to practice. So I like.
4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?
“You’re just finding the perfect girl to beat off to? You must be desperate if you’re using non-pornographic photos...”
Because I love writing Natsumi NG Dialogue. She’s way too fun, especially when it comes to teasing Kazuki.
5: What part was hardest to write?
Kazuki convincing Natsumi to leave her family. That was the hardest because I wanted to write something that would make Natsumi cry and get pissed off at him and part of me feels like I may not have caught that in the end.
11: What do you like best about this fic?
I like that I was able to kinda show how the two interact when they’re older. I did some doodles of them inbetween the Vacation fic and House Guest to show how they are but this kinda solidified it.
12: What do you like least about this fic?
I really don’t think Kazuki’s confrontation was strong. I just had no idea how to make it work during that time.
13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?
I wrote the fic mostly while I was at work...so anything I heard was the television...and more than likely The First 48 was on haha. I’m not really sure if I could recommend anything to match the fic!

32 or 41 Naegiri.
41. “You did all of this for me?”
“Easy now, just take it slow...”
Makoto Naegi held onto a wobbling Kyoko Kirigiri as if she would fall any minute. The poison wasn’t in her body anymore, but its effects still lingered. When he opened the door to her apartment, where she hadn’t been in a month, she was surprised to see balloons, flowers, a table full of groceries, clean floors, and the curtains pulled back for the bright blue sky to shine.
“You did all of this for me?” Kyoko asked Makoto.
“Of course, I did” Makoto replied. “I’m so happy that you’re alive.”

Naegiri 32? :D
32. “I think I’m in love with you and I’m terrified.”
Nobody could tell how fast Kyoko Kirigiri’s heart was beating. Never did she expect to develop feelings of romance, yet here she was. Sitting across from her was Makoto Naegi.
She wasn’t sure if she hated this feeling of romance, only because it made her feel vulnerable. No matter how hard she tried to push her feelings away, the only came back to face her head-on.
“Hey, Kyoko?” Makoto asked, concerned. “You’ve been quiet for a while. Is something wrong?”
Without hesitation she replied, “I think I’m in love with you, and I’m terrified.”
But maybe loving Makoto wouldn’t be so scary.

4 Naegi POV Naegiri or 22 Kirigiri POV Naegiri please?
4. “Do you…well…I mean…I could give you a massage?”
Makoto always thought Kyoko looked tense. When they got closer as friends, Makoto felt for himself just how tense Kyoko really was. Even through her school uniform, he could feel the knots in her shoulders.
“You’re so tense,” Makoto mumbled.
“Not much I can do about it,” Kyoko replied.
A spark of courage ignited in Makoto. “Do you...well...I mean...could I give you a massage?”
Kyoko looked at him skeptically. She wasn’t fond of people touching her so intimate like that. But for Makoto...perhaps it would be fine.
Kyoko smiled. “Sure, go ahead.”
