Capturing Movements

We were sent out to try 3 ways of capturing movement. Enhanced Movement, Freezing and Panning. when we were set out to try these with a blow up beach ball. we found panning was the hardest to master out of the 3 and freezing the image the easiest.

After many attempts we finally got an image we were happy with. Our images were ether over exposed, under exposed or the shutter was to slow to capture the colours in the beach ball making it transparent in the image.

It was pretty straight forward taking an image like this. with a fast shater speed and focusing on where the ball was going to be helped freeze the balls movements as it rolled down the stairs.

Sadly i don’t feel happy with the attempts at our panning images  as non were close to what we where wanting to capture. Matching the speed of the ball falling to us following it proved more a challenge then first thought.
