Saw one of your skirts in the wild for the first time today!!! She was wearing the crystal skirt at the spring festival in town and I'm wearing clovers and we both recognized each other's skirts, it was wonderful 😃

Thought you might appreciate this little story. Brought my cat to the vet for a check up and was waiting to be seen. Wearing the cherry blossoms midi with the new petticoat for the first time, sitting on a bench so it's all poofed out.

A man came in with a young doodle dog who was a little skittish, sits on the bench. He goes to check in and tries to gently tug the dog's leash to follow him, the dog wasn't moving. So he kinda gives up, drops the leash.

As he turns around, the dog burrows under the bench and pokes out from under the corner of my skirt and I started laughing. The owner spots the dog and starts to apologize and I'm like, no it's fine she's not bothering me.

After he sits back down, I suggested he needed to get a big skirt for the dog to hide behind too.

Genuinely enchanting little moment.

awww this is so cute 🥹 maybe everyone needs a skirt to either function as a hiding spot or a shady spot for their furry friends haha

I'm a removal technician for a bunch of funeral homes, and your skirts are literally perfect for what I do! Old folks love seeing a girly in a skirt, and I never have to worry about my trousers ripping on a removal. I have become too powerful.

I accidentally ripped one of your skirts that I’ve had for years (star gayzing) and ended up using the opportunity to make my dog new toys and give it a second life through recycling its use. Your skirts bring joy even after its intended purpose is served! 💖☺️

Have you ever considered setting up like a facebook page or something for people to trade or resell your skirts? It seems like some people are really passionate about old skirt designs that are realistically never coming back, but I bet there are people out there who bought that skirt who would be willing to sell it or trade it for a skirt they never got to buy. I think it would also solve the problem of people constantly asking for retired skirts to return if you could point them to somewhere where they could ask to buy one off another customer

we don't have the resources to maintain a facebook page (or other community) or mod one ourselves. however, any of you guys are welcome to create something like a discord, tumblr tag, or reddit if you'd like!

My cat (Gertie) currently has cat vertigo (Gertigo) but absolutely insists on following me up and down the stairs at all times (there have been wipeouts) so I've started wearing one of your skirts whenever I'm at home. I can't fit Gertie in the pockets, but I can fit absolutely everything else I need to free my hands up to carry her up and down the stairs with me. Your skirts are the best clothing I own 🙏🏻

okay, but would you consider making rain ponchos? i love your designs and i need something to keep me dry in the pnw and your styles are so whimsical🥰 would definitely add vibrancy to the grey

maybe! it's something that ash has been working on in the background and that we would like to produce in the future if possible. so there's a chance, but it's not definite yet.

Would you guys be interested in/willing to show off a couple of styling ideas with the gold vines skirt? I like the colours but I have no idea what I would wear it with to make a complete feeling outfit.

hi there! we only have official store pictures of the gold vines skirt styled with our wrap tops, but if anyone has ideas or photos of what they've worn with their gold vines skirts, they're welcome to share on the replies of this ask 😊

in my opinion, if you're unable to find a top that closely matches the gold at the hem, then a simple neutral-colored top would look nice with it!

hi! I remember you had a petticoat care guide at some point but I can't find it. can you point me to where I can look at the care instructions now that the petticoat preorders are being shipped out? thank you!

yes! i'll go ahead and put the care & storage information below:

--CARE-- Petticoats should be washed as infrequently as possible--one to two times a year at most. The best way to clean your petticoat is to steam it, which can also reinvigorate your petticoat's volume if it has been flattened. Otherwise, it is recommended to either dry clean or hand wash and line dry in the shade. Machine wash at your own risk. For best results with a machine, wash on a gentle cycle with cold water using a small amount of gentle detergent. Hang in shade to dry. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron inside out on low heat. --STORAGE-- When possible, petticoats should be turned inside out and hung on a skirt hanger. For more compact storage, you can roll your petticoat by folding it at the waistband and then rolling it starting at the bottom hem and ending at the waistband, before placing it in a garment bag. If your petticoat has been flattened from storage, you can reinvigorate the volume with a steamer or by hanging it in your bathroom and taking a steamy shower.
