English lady at work brought in stuff for afternoon tea w/ scones clotted cream and sausage rolls and idk, I think I can be convinced about English food…

#caveat I haven’t been to the UK but with my limited exposure to the cuisine. it strikes me as like. comfort food and very hearty #and it’s biggest sin seems to be it can be bland at times #i suspect there are worse European cuisines #what are the Dutch doing I feel like the Dutch would make shit food #also all this said while earl grey is S tier and hearty black teas can be nice I strongly prefer Chinese and Indian teas to British #(also matcha but honestly I don’t like any other Japanese teas I’ve had except sort of Genmaicha)
