🎨 🖼 Joshua Arthur is a passionate painter and runs his own art shop in the Center for National Art and Culture in Accra, the capital of Ghana. The creative artist is also a fantastic wood sculptor and we made a little movie about the art place, the community and a variety of artists from different fields. They organize as well projects which bring the children off the streets and give them new life perspectives through music, painting or dancing. 🧵🎭🎨 The NGO “Solid Rock Association” was formed by the president Arkaah Kobina, vice-president William Segbedzi and other friends, artists and supporters in the year 2000 and formally registered by the Registrar General Department and recognized by the Department of social welfare on November the 16th 2009. In the middle of the poverty area – the slum – next to the Center for National Art and Culture close to 28th February Road there is their headquarters. It provides a secure place, a learning area and a clean environment for the children in the slum.
