I’m not trying to be lazy on my edit, but they are so different and I really like both of them. So you get two for the price of one today. Tomatoes are in season in Havana, as well as Spring Onions and cabbage. The variety of fruits and vegetables that Cubans get are directly related to what is in season. A lot of times they look pretty banged up, but they always taste pretty good. The tomatoes are much harder and a little bit greener than ours, but the flavor is really nice. Spring sunset walks in Havana are just about as good as it gets. Sadly the warmth in the light was from crappy air. There were an unusual amount of grass fires and trash burning when I arrived. I’m back in Cuba 🍀🥳 🇨🇺 ❣️ I’ve known/photographed this man for just over 3 years now. He lives in the neighborhood I stay in. He has 4 dogs that are always with him. He always looks just a bit rough, and I’m always glad to see him. Happy to know he’s still walking the Animas hood. Last time I saw him he had fresh stitches in his head and was bleeding. Spring and summer in Havana is HOT ! Sweltering, humid, and sticky - the majority are not going to have air conditioning so everyone is always outside. I saw a video yesterday of pouring monsoon rains and a serious game of soccer in the street.
