And then she got to the point where the quests start being from the Umbar expansion, so I finally went ahead and bought that; and with it the /swashbuckle emote which was definitely made for Miss Wendy the River Hobbit Captain. :-D

Cerphedis has finished questing in Gundabad and heeded the King's call to come help with matters closer to home. Since she's traveling on an official embassy and all, she dressed up a bit. :-D

Cerphedis has now both outleveled Lennidhren and has reached a part of Gundabad that Lenni hadn't got to yet. But who knows? Maybe Lenni will yet assert her Main status and jump back into the race before Cerphedis hits 150? XD

Ranna's Year in LOTRO

To sum up: They updated human CC and I made a Curly Girl just for fun and then she took over and is now tied with my main at 140. XD Pretty sure Curly Girl Cerphedis is going to hit the new 150 level cap before Librarian Lennidhren does, at this rate.

Both of them are mid-Gundabad questwise now. But I think Cerphedis will finish it first; as a Gondor girl, she insists on beating Lenni to the King's Gondor questline...

Honorable mention, though, to Wendelind, my River Hobbit captain who is the cutest ever.

Wendy will not be racing anyone to level cap anytime soon but she will certainly be adorable when she gets there.

OK, new character time! Cerphedis is a hunter from Gondor who exists for two reasons:

Curly hair options in the human CC update! There are quite a few of them and they are not half bad.

Swanfleet, which I hadn't yet had a chance to try out as an alternative to the old tutorial instances. It's quite fun so far!

I found it! I found the corner of Rohan that clearly inspired Golodir's Cloak. XD Green fields, orange and yellow flowers, and a Rabbit! (It's near Faldham in the Norcrofts; not far from the lathbear den.)

Now the real question, for any LOTRO players out there: Why a rabbit? What does a rabbit have to do with Golodir anyway? Is this like a family heraldry thing or something? Or perhaps in his youth Golodir was Rangering in Rohan (or...somewhere with yellow and orange flowers and bunnies, at least; i.e. anywhere but Angmar probably) and just...liked the aesthetic and got it embroidered on a cloak?

Whatever the story behind it, as non-dyeable quest reward cloaks in LOTRO go, Cerphedis is certainly getting a lot of use out of this one. (N.B.: Cerphedis may be the first alt I've actually used it on but she at least is glad I put it in my wardrobe back when Lennidhren received it!)

Oh no I need to knit this!

Oooh. Clearly I have not visited the LOTRO Farmers Faire in too many years and been oblivious to new cosmetics since the last time I did, because there are way more spiffy things on the vendors than I remember (or have tokens for after one day of festival questing, ha). This hat and one of the others (that I didn't yet have enough tokens for...choices, choices XD) are making me want to resurrect my old Lord of the Hats knitting project wherein I make RL recreations of silly hats from LOTRO, like these:

This new beret with the asymmetrical brim and button is really calling for a RL version, though...I would definitely wear that!
