oh so today's arbitrary marker of being a good person is *checks notes* having worked retail and/or food service, yes, I see
#*eyeroll*#i worked food service for exactly 3 months as a 16yo because i was forced into it and the only good thing it did for me#was let me know early on that working was Not For Me and also sometimes even my father can't make me do something#because he could NOT make me go back once i hit whatever the last straw was. and that was... significant#certainly didn't make me any more compassionate to food service workers lmao i gained that by pure observation and listening to ppl#and just generally getting older or w/e#anyway i just love how tumblr plays with superiority complexes like dolls
