Winter was in her room playing with some of her toys with Karina watching her as well as playing with her. However, as playtime progressed Winter was wanting only one thing. “Oompa Loompa…” she mutters quietly under her breath. Karina heard Winter speak but she didn't know what was fully said as it sounded incoherent to her.

“Minjeong, sweetie, what did you say?” Karina questions whilst she gently runs her fingers through Winter's hair. “Watch Oompa Loompa, mama.” Winter repeated herself but she also added two more words, her mama knew what she meant when she said that; she wanted to watch the new ‘Wonka’ movie. “Of course we can watch it, sweetie! Let me just get it on.” Karina says with a wide smile on her face.

Winter jumped up in glee, she then quickly sat down on the sofa and started kicking her feet out of excitement as she waited for Karina to put the movie on for her. When the movie starts, Winter pulls Karina onto the bed because she wants to see the movie without anyone being in her way, even though she's watched it a dozen times it still makes her happy.

As the movie played, Winter had a constant smile on her face. “I love Oompa Loompa!” Winter comments and she giggles since she saw Hugh Grant as her favorite character. “Do you know the dance, Minjeong?” Karina was well aware of the fact that Winter knew the dance, based on the amount of times she had done it since posting her version of it on Tiktok. Winter quickly nods her head and coincidentally, the song started playing, so Winter did her own rendition of the dance whilst sitting down.

Karina left Winter's room a bit earlier so she could prepare lunch, she did ask Winter if she wanted to join her but she was met with an immediate no from her baby, so she respected Winter's wishes and she made lunch by herself. Whilst Karina was cooking, Winter's laughter could be heard throughout the house as she rewinds the movie to Hugh Grant's oompa loompa song.

“She's enjoying herself, I'll leave her to it until I finish all of the lunches.” Karina says to herself with a smile on her face whilst she makes the sandwiches for everyone. It doesn't take long for Karina to finish making the sandwiches and she goes to Winter's room to tell the little that her lunch was ready. “Hey Minjeong, it's time for your lunch. Come on, you can pause the movie.”

Winter looks up at Karina and she shakes her head. “Nu-uh, I wanna stay here, mama.” Winter pouts and she refuses to leave her spot on the bed. Karina listens and she thinks of an alternative. “How about I put Wonka on the TV in the living room so you can still watch it?” The suggestion made Winter think for a minute about what she wanted to do. “Hmm? ‘kay then mama.” Winter reaches her arms out to her mama, indicating that she wanted to be picked up by Karina.

The older girl picks up Winter with ease and she walks over to the living room first because she wanted Winter to know that she wouldn't lie to her about not putting on the movie, she even went to the part where Winter was. “Alright, it's time for lunch now, sweetie.” Karina's voice was soft which made Minjeong relax and willing to sit down at the table to eat.

Lunch went smoothly for everyone, mainly because Winter was too distracted with the film to get into an argument with any of the other girls plus the fact that Karina kept her calm through feeding her parts of the sandwich she made for her, there were some moments where Karina had to remind Winter to eat.

When they finished eating, Winter wanted to sit on the couch in the living room to finish off the movie. “Are you having fun, sweetie?” Karina questions the younger girl who nods her head and smiles widely. “Yea, I'm havin’ fun, mama!” Winter's smile only grows more. After a while, the movie finishes, but Karina decided to put on the original Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, so the duo can have a mini movie marathon together.

aespa drabble, since i saw them last night so now i have brainrot

yizhuo toddled out of her bedroom, dragging her blanket behind her and sleepily rubbing her eyes. her lips and eyes were puffy and she had red marks across her face from her pillow, making it obvious to anyone who saw her that she had just woken up.

as soon as she walked into the living room of the dorm, jimin immediately knew she was regressed. her caregiver instincts quickly kicked in, the urge to take care of yizhuo became strong.

"It looks like someone had a good sleep." jimin giggled, amused by yizhuo's adorable disheveled appearance. the morning light shone through the windows, bringing warmth to jimin as she curled up on the couch.

jimin watched as yizhuo made her way over to the couch, extending her arms to show that she wanted to be held. jimin complied with her request, pulling the little into her lap and holding her close.

"did you have sweet dreams, little one?" the older member asked, moving back yizhuo's hair before planting a kiss on her forehead.

she nodded lazily, still taken over by the wrath of sleepiness. jimin took yizhuo's blanket and wrapped it around her, noticing how she melts once it's placed over her.

jimin's heart melted. she wished she could stay like this forever, basking in the warmth with yizhuo.

yizhuo slowly brought her thumb to her lips, sucking on it as she began to fall asleep once again. jimin rocked the regressed girl gently, deciding it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get a bit more sleep in.

I don't even know where to start when describing aespa's "Armageddon". The song itself reminds me of "Next Level", but the amount of action + visuals is a combination of "Black Mamba", "Next Level", "Girls", & "Drama". I still can't quite figure out who the new enemy is (if there is one), but people were talking about aliens in the MV, so we probably won't know unless aespa &/or CAWMAN release more special clips. Now, to get my thoughts together...

All the wordplay between "Armageddon", "I'ma get it done", "I'ma get 'em" is extremely well done & maintains the underlying meaning.

My love for police procedural dramas made me think that Ningning's bathroom blood splatter was cool. ^-^"

Winter's strawberry blonde double braids made me think of Sailor Moon.

All the intricate hand movements during the (pre)chorus are so mesmerizing (e.g. palms pressed together, raising right hand, hand dance over right eye/forehead... I could go on).

Giselle gets a split screen during her line in the 2nd verse! Her lines in Korean sound almost like one-two-three-four ("WAN-byeokhan Pair // neon TTOK-kateun Soul // THREE to get ready // URIN Shoot and go" — the last one is a stretch >_<").

The CG & fantasy outfits are top-tier! I'm still trying to figure out who the enemy is... the girls' own alter egos?!

The "aw wayo wayo" & "go way up way up" lines throughout the song & especially in the OUTRO sound like battle cries... aespa is declaring war against haters!

And I don't even know where to start with the B-sides because there so many good ones that I like (not going to rank "Supernova" because I already talked about it during the pre-release). Sorry to the other B-sides!

"Set The Tone": This song is super powerful & sounds a lot like "Girls"! The girls should perform this at least once during their promo period.

"Mine": This is a much darker & more serious version of "Illusion (Will o the Wisp)" (which I didn't like). All the deep/low tones & whispers are mesmerizing. (also made me think of HyunA's "Party, Feel, Love")

"Licorice": Now that I've heard the full version, I definitely think it sounds like a peppier version of "Salty & Sweet".

"Long Chat (#♥)": This song finally grew onto me! It's definitely f(x) coded & made me think of "Ending Page" again.

Tldr: Good song and MV. Graphics are nice but somewhat disappointed at how safe it is.

Firstly I quite like the fact that the group is only four members because if it got bigger than that I don't think that it would have any good chance at lasting because of the costs of the cg.

I've only listened to the song once whilst I watched the MV and it is in my head already. That being said I'm a bit disappointed, let me elaborate.

So even from the promotional pictures, mainly the box of Pandora's box was very aespa-esque. Which is fine, kpop is notorious for 'heavy' inspiration to put it politely so it didn't bother me but it did set the tone of what to aexpect (yes lame pun lol). For example Aespa's ae versions look like cheaper LoL K/DA models, which is jarring at times but because they aren't all of aespa it doesn't have a negative impact. Btw not saying I hate ae's, I especially love Naevis, but as I've mentioned (I think) before, I wish they had a different art direction.

I will say MAVE'S models are a lot better in every way which is refreshing. Kind of like Saejin from SUPERKIND but though his model is good it's also quite static. Then again they are a smaller company so it's understandable but overall I'm happy with the graphics.

My personal taste wishes that they looked more fantastical. Maybe bigger eyes, coloured hair and that high fantasy goes into the music too which I'll get into later. The reason why I wish it was more OTT, is because I'm extra but mainly because it can come across as a gimmick. Like they're just non tired robots doing the same thing as real people can do but are limited by their coding. Like just do the same MV but with a green screen and it might even be cooler with real people.

Anyway I don't have an issue with AI. I know the waters are muddy but I'm a gamer, and every year graphics get closer to looking human. Which is fascinating and terrifying.

But for me as long as you can tell its not real like I guess with more anime styles and etc look I'm quite happy. I think if they also had a less human look it would give more immersion to them in the fact that in 5-10 years they could look dated and not in a good way. Like with any experimental media you either have aged well or poorly. Only media with a uniqueness or charm can both be aged well and poorly at the same time. Like cult and campy content.

Now onto the song. I do like it because well it's in my head after one listen and I've been typing this just after I watched the MV! But as I've said (in a way) it's just okay. Like when I hear 'New GG AI' my mind gets excited for the future. This MV was very much now future. So it's cool and pretty but yawningly safe.

Rather than an aespa, K/DA combo, I'd have loved a Dreamcatcher, LOONA, onlyoneof combo. Dystopian, high fantasy and allure.

Still for a debut it was good even though the down dance move was way too close to black mamba for my liking. And that's the only issue I have. Like yeah of course with everything art/dance moves are not only for one group or person but you can tell when it's ahem 'heavily inspired'.

I'd also love if they grow a stronger identity than just mix of aespa and K/DA. Like K/DA is great because its has Queen Soyeon and Miyeon with other great artists and a world already built to steer their vision and on Aespa's side they have a growing world with trained idols that bring that excitement to the real stage. Both have amazing music. Mave needs to get a signature visual and sound to push them into a truly innovate group.

Still if the company can keep up with the graphics, music and potential world building if any I'm interested. As long as its not we are being hacked by a giant spider or something and buy 'our bit coins for photocards' or some nonsense haha.

Lastly if they could keep the majority or merch online that would be awesome and hopefully they are paying the voices behind the members a good salary. The cg idols wouldn't be alive without their human voices after all.

ningning playing house with you, and being burdened with the task of playing every role whilist you're the mom. doyoung being not just a victim to his members' relentless teasing, but even his own little. the guy's just trying to get ready for bed, and all of a sudden he hears an eruption of laughter at the doorway. wide-eyed, he whips his head around to see you, and he takes a deep breath. "what's so funny, hon?" he has the nerve to ask as he has on a bunny headband, a face mask, and a ponytail that's keeping his bangs further away from his face. "y'look funny bunny.." and you start to laugh even harder at your accidental rhyme. doyoung squints at you before taking the mask off, "shouldn't you be in bed, hm? doie will be there in a minute." he can't help but sigh as he hears your giggles echo down the hallway and into your room.

giselle spoiling you (both big and small) (⁠´⁠ε⁠｀⁠ ⁠) never mention that you want something around giselle, because you will see that exact item in an amazon box on your bed the next day. once, while babbling on about your day, you mentioned a particular cat stuffie you saw in the window of a store, and a few days later she came to you while watching a cartoon. "hey love, i got you something." giselle smiles down at you whilist holding something behind your back. "oou what is it, mommyy?" you immediately perk up excitedly. "close your eyes." she whispers, crouching down to your level. and you do just that, biting your bottom lip with your eyes screwed shut. suddenly you feel the plushie fall down into your lap, your eyes shoot wide open, and the pride is very prevalent in her eyes as you thank her a thousand times, "of course, mommy just had to get it for you, baby."

Just from the morning, it was clear that it wasn't going to be a good day for Mina at all, when she woke up it wasn't like how she was used to because it was via the other girls waking her up in a very loud way, the only one who didn't was Jeongyeon since she also knew how bad it was to deal with loud noises. The noise had obviously startled Mina and it wasn't ideal at all since the girl had regressed.

Mina clasps her hands around her ears, since she wanted to block out the noise of the other girls, hoping that it would make things better and muffle most of the loud sounds. But it only seemed that her fellow members got louder, from Jihyo telling Sana to get ready quicker to Nayeon screaming because she was being chased by Dahyun and Chaeyoung who had fake spiders in their hands.

Overall, Mina wasn't having the best of times because of what was happening in front of her, so she decided to find a corner to sit at. Her action was noticed by Jeongyeon, who was struggling with the noise herself, she also picked up on the fact that Mina was regressed.

With that in mind, Jeongyeon went on the hunt for her noise cancelling headphones, but it obviously wasn't for herself, it was for Mina because Jeongyeon hated the idea of Mina having a meltdown due to the noise while she was little. It took Jeongyeon quite a bit of time to find her headphones, not because of the fact that she couldn't find them, instead it was due to panic making her brain go haywire, thankfully she did find them along with a weighted blanket for Mina.

Once she collected everything that she wanted, Jeongyeon went back out of her room and she ran over to where Mina was still sitting. “Minari, it's going to be okay.” Jeongyeon slides next to the little and she places the headphones on her, it startled Mina for a second but only a second as she started to slowly calm down. “Everything is fine, I'm here now.” Jeongyeon says as she wraps the blanket around Mina. In response Mina wraps her arms around Jeongyeon for comfort and support.

It was difficult for Jeongyeon to reciprocate the hug since she absolutely despised physical contact due to her SPD, but she also took into account that Mina loved being hugged due to the fact that the compression calmed her down in any stressful situation. In the end, Jeongyeon decided to carry Mina back to her room so they could at least have some peace.

“Okay… what to do?” Jeongyeon mutters to herself as she places Mina on the bed. Jeongyeon paced back and forth trying to figure out if she should engage in physical contact or not. “I hate the feeling of being touched by anyone, but then again Mina enjoys it and it calms her down.” Jeongyeon contemplates, she decides to stop pacing and sit on the bed next to Mina.

Jeongyeon thinks about what she wanted to say before she spoke. “So, how are you feeling, Minari?” Jeongyeon gently pulls back one of the headphones so she could be heard. Mina looked over at Jeongyeon and she started searching for something, after 5 minutes Mina found a pen and a piece of paper for her to write on, “Tired and ‘m still a bit scared.” Mina wrote down and showed Jeongyeon the note.

Jeongyeon looks at the note and she nods her head. “Is there anything you want me to do which will help calm you down?” Jeongyeon asks the little, which makes Mina contemplate what she wanted to have before she wrote down what she wanted. “Hug, please?” Mina wrote down on the paper. When Jeongyeon looked at the paper she bit her lip slightly and thinks about what she should do.

In the end, Jeongyeon decides to look for another blanket for herself and after a couple of minutes she managed to find one that was good enough for her to have as the feeling didn't upset her much. Jeongyeon then gripped onto the ends of the blanket and she hugged Mina tightly, which was appreciated by the regressed girl as she smiled widely and hugged back.
