Challenge 2A

I created this logo with the idea that I could use this for my fiance’s (future) natural remedies and products company.  I traced the outline of a leafe and made bubbles around it like the Skype logo.

The second piece was that I created a template for user journies that I’d use on my thesis.  It will come handy when I fill out journies for my HKS thesis.  The pictures of the templates are below.  

The last piece of my challenge is that I setup the structure and design of my portfolio.  It can be accessed at rajantrivedi.com.

Challenge 2A

1) Logos: Decided to make my initials in a variety of ways

2) Icons: I’m working on a fitness-related startup so I decided to make a few icons similar to that.

3) Picture: I’m pretty new to Photoshop but I liked messing with the background so the sky would change without the foreground changing.

Challenge 2a

For this challenge, I created a set of icons, a logo, and a wireframe for a program called Exercise for Persons with Disability, at Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Cambridge. I am working with this program in another one of my engineering classes, and wanted to design a logo for them and create a mockup of their website, as well as create icons that I could use for my final presentation. I created three icons that explain a key part of the service the program provides, exercise via functional electrical stimulation. This technology allows paraplegic individuals to perform exercises like cycling and rowing, and I wanted to explain the process visually, which I did via the icons in the top right panel. For the logo, I wanted to prominently feature a person in a wheelchair, but wanted them to be in an active stance. The logo I came up with includes a person in a wheelchair, and uses that figure to represent one of the letters in the logo. The wireframe I created was a simple design that includes pages with information that patients and clinicians may need about the program.

This is a personal logo with my initials, inspired by Ngoc’s logo on her website I wanted to do something simple that could be put on something as part of a brand.

The icons are supposed to be app icons for Mail, Phone, Messaging, Weather, and Music on a minimalist black and white UI.

The photo is one I took after a snow earlier in the semester, with black and white put everywhere except for my roommates, and a blue overlay on the snow.
