Culture Shock
  When I arrived at Singapore its architectural beauty immediately caught my eye, the world-renowned waterfall of Changi airport. Its water cascaded along the glass funnel reflecting its architectural perfection, highlighting the glass’ graceful arc, seamlessly reflecting the drops of water scattered along the air. After gazing at the waterfall, I exit the airport and got into the cab.     Now that I was walking through the city, I saw Singapore’s perfections. Singapore was lush greenery and modernism blended at its finest, it was perfectly organized to a point where you could walk along the street and not find a single flaw, and not one piece of litter. Sometimes it was flawless to a point of awkwardness, making it seem like you were in the matrix (haven't watched the matrix). The further you walked the more urban it became, the more organized it became, it was an endless path towards the search of perfection. Singapore made it look like some countries were in the past. It was like day and night compared to Thailand, it was like comparing New York to Luckenbach, modernism to traditionalism, Singapore was like the heavens of south-east asia, it was like the German tank force in WW2, there were infinite ways of metaphorizing Sinapores advances. In my opinion Singapore felt to good to be true. It truly was infallible.
