a rewriting of my mind

  what we believe is the truth its everything our parents [who are all knowing ,] have handed us. 

Their wisdom , understand, empathy and compassion all rolled into a tight ball and wrapped up pretty as a picture . To be delivered with smiles, hugs and kisses  at every waking moment until we are old enough to think for ourselves. ..  

But do we really ? [think for ourselves] Do we really question what we have been taught by our parents , or do we simply rebel because society says that is the right thing to do ? 

do we ever think solely for ourselves ?
