Duncan and Charlie both suspect Tori and Richie being a couple, and they both deny it, and it leads to Duncan asking Joe for advice regarding the situation.

Foreshadowing for the next few chapters (regarding Richie and Tori having an adventure outside MacLeod), and the future of Richie and Tori being a couple, something that'll be seen in the Season 3 arc.

Season 2 on the way

I would like to thank everyone for their support for Defenders Chronicles Highlander thus far. Special thanks to @james5-doe for his contribution to the story.

Season 1 has ended, the chapters that cover that Season that is. Now it's on to Season 2, where the Watchers will fully be introduced as well as Joe Dawson. There's also the introduction to mortals Charlie Desalvo and Maurice Lalonde.

Tori and Richie have an implied relationship during this season, especially after Richie becomes immortal and Tessa dies as Duncan is affected by her loss and trains Richie.

During the period between "Under the Color of Authority" (Richie's first Quickening) and "Prodigal Son," Tori and Richie spend time together, Richie joins the IUA and then Tori and Richie spend time with the Defenders of the Earth.

The Season 3 arc has officially begun, and boy, it's starting off with a bang! A woman from Richie's past claims he is the father of her son. Connor MacLeod makes a cameo during a flashback and a series of events lead to Richie and Tori becoming unable to deny their feelings for each other any longer.
