I'm totally enthralled by the dynamic between these two. Morse thinks she's a murderer but can't decide if he's angry, scared, or turned on. Eve can read all of this on his face and is like "What is with this guy?"
They're both simultaneously disgusted with each other's occupations and intrigued when the other catches them off-guard by subverting their assumptions. They try to intimidate each other but their real emotions keep slipping out, and the hole in the facade doesn't go unnoticed.
Once again an example of nothing technically happening in an Endeavour scene yet it's sexier than 99% of what you see in movies/tv today.
