ok lunar seemed a lot more comfortable around eclipse in this than he did last episode. which, of course, it could have been prerecored nefore that (checkovs razor or whatever it is), however, my overthinking mind is like "no he did one of those diagnostic tests on him, and then made him kind of forget that or something", i know, its probably not right but still

Checkov’s razor: if you make the simplest assumption in the first act, it should be considered right in the following one.
Occam’s gun: the best answer is usually a loaded pistol.

Me watching TV is just Schrödinger's Checkov's Occam's Razor
schrodinger's chekhov's gun. a detail in a story that looks like it should have some big payoff but it's too early to tell if that's relevant or if the author just has a passion for lovingly describing guns.

I am reposting old fic rec lists. Unfortunately some of the blogs/stories have been removed, but I am still going to list them for historical reference.
Feel free to tag me in ANY fics you post, and see previous weeks’ fic recs HERE
For Fluff Appreciation Day, this week is ALL FLUFF
Some of these fics I’ve posted before, but I’m re-posting because I love them and they’re super fluffy! Enjoy!
Table Manners by @crispychrissy Your first official date with Dean as his girlfriend has some unforeseen complications.
Are You A Wizard by @docharleythegeekqueen With encouragement from her friends’ Reader decides to tell Dean Winchester how she feels. Unfortunately, her hopes are seemingly crushed and she turns to alcohol and a mysterious wizard for guidance. Well, she hopes he’s a wizard.
Best Teacher in the World by @effie-w Dean is the best teacher in the world, according to his kindergarteners.
Worst Case Scenario by @hannahindie Cas and the reader are going on a date and fluff ensues.
Braids and Confessions by @fandommaniacx You finally convince Sam to let you braid his hair.
Even Though by @imagineteamfreewill When married to someone like Sam, there’s some complications that are bound to occur. Sam, however, is not so willing to make everything so easy for you.
Best Laid Plans by @impala-dreamer Dean tries to go all chick-flick on you but fails miserably.
Tall, Smart, and Handsome by @impalaimagining A hunt frustrates Sam and makes him feel like he’s not smart enough. You set out to prove him wrong.
Bang by @jhoomwrites Where Dean and Cas are best friends and Cas makes fun of all of his typos when they text.
Strawberry Pistachio by @jhoomwrites Dean goes on ice cream dates with Novak, and is confused when he changes over break.
It’s A Surprise by @jpadjackles Sam decides that instead of a boring Valentine’s day of exchanging beer and chocolate, he wants to take Y/N out on a real Valentine’s Day special getaway.
What Makes You Beautiful by @just-a-touch-of-sass-and-fandoms Dean makes the reader feel beautiful inside of her skin, even if she’s not happy with her body.
Bright and Warm by @lipstickandwhiskey Dean never was one for relationships. He always messed it all up one way or another, but just this once, he hopes he can do something right.
She Can Hear You by @not-moose-one-shots The reader temporarily goes deaf and Sam takes the opportunity to repeatedly tell her how he feels about her.
Thorough Checkover by @one-shots-supernatural The reader is sick, and Sam takes care of her. But as the reader get better. Sam and the reader start flirting more. Will anything come from it?
Most Ardently by @splendidcas The reader is hit by a spell forcing her to talk in Shakespearean language and revealing her feelings for Sam.
Babe, Where’s My Razor? by @thevioletthourr The reader can’t stand Dean shaving all the time so she takes action!
Wet Paws by @trexrambling Sam brings a puppy home.
Dad Bod by @winchester-smut Dean has a major crush on you, and one comment from Sam has him insecure about it.
