Gymcheer USA sponsors First Crush!

Want to know where Secret Diary of American Cheerleader: First Crush takes place?  Look no further than Gymcheer USA, home of the California Flyers, in Santa Clarita Valley, California.  If certain scenes look familiar, it’s because you’ve seen them before!  Gymcheer USA was also host to Emma, Teisha and the rest of the Silver Extreme squad in Season One of Secret Diary. 

Gymcheer USA, is a training center designed for tumblers, cheerleaders, and instructors and it's curriculum is based upon USASF leveling to develop strong, well-rounded athletes.  The California Flyers actually appears as part of the team in First Crush, while owner and Coach Shelly Gramatsky will play the role of Coach Easton, head coach of the Tri-City All Stars.

"Cheer Channel is looking forward to continuing our partnership with Gymcheer USA,” said Cindy Villareal, CEO of Cheer Channel, Inc. “They have an outstanding venue in Southern California and a diverse team of great athletes who will make a great supporting cast to our cast and superstars."

Working with Gymcheer USA has been both a valuable experience and a lot of fun for all parties involved. “Our athletes are excited to be a part of the production and it is such great exposure for our athletes, gym, and organization to be working with the Cheer Channel," said Shelly Gramatky, Owner of Gymcheer USA.

The level of experience and dedication that real All Stars bring to the table has been an important part of Cheer Channel’s production. "We make every effort with the 'Secret Diary' series to create a realistic environment in terms of All Star cheerleading, using real cheerleaders in the cast wherever possible," said Lance Robbins, Executive Producer of "First Crush."  "Having Shelly as a real gym owner actually choreograph and coach our actors and cheerleaders on camera was truly art imitating life."
