Do you guys think Chase and Emma are each other's first and only relationship? If they have no experience in dating other than each other, it would make sense why neither of them is able to move on or recognise why they don't work out...

i "like" chemma but obviousy not in a "i ship them" way but instead in a "i find it fascinating how these two are so absolutely terrible together and only make each other worse and yet continue to get back together. i want to study them under a microscope and figure out why the fuck they are like this" kind of way

I am genuinely so scared of the idea of season 2 rajbow , because I got so attached to them as a couple , and as much as I wish for them to have a happy , healthy relationship, like they deserve,this is total DRAMA, and I'm scared the creators are gonna do something about it, like ruin it. What's your opinion on that possibility?

Ps: I love them so much! They make my little queer heart melt , and if the creators ruin it , I will write them a very long strongly worded letter.

I’m also a bit worried but I have hope and try to alleviate those concerns by remembering that most of the unnecessary breakups done in the earlier seasons were thanks to network requests instead than purely creative decisions and that later seasons didn’t include that nearly as much.

If Raj and Bowie have some hiccups in their relationship next season, that’s alright, all couples have their ups and downs, but I do just hope it’s not dragged for too long or marks an end to a relationship. And I do believe it wouldn’t make much sense, Bowie and Raj are the couple with best communication I think we’ve gotten in the series, so any conflict seems like they could easily resolve.

The only couple I truly wish they break up is Chase and Emma, I refuse to believe the writers wanted to make us believe them getting back together as a positive development when even all the other characters acknowledge and voice that it’s not.

Total Drama Island: Hard Reboot (Update 2)

It’s been a while since I posted huh? Well I’ve been super busy with school and other irl stuff so I haven’t had the time to draw. BUT I have managed to do some drafting for the rewrite!

There has been a slight change in the elimination order! Just swapped two people is all. I talked to some friends about my original elimination order. We realized that one contestant could stay a little longer than another in order for an alliance’s arc to make more sense

I have decided that all canon ships in the reboot will be present here in some way, shape, or form. Will any of these relationships fall apart? Will any new ships be formed? You’ll have to read and find out

I have expanded the chapter/episode count! There will now be 15 chapters for TDI:HR. In-universe, there will still be 13 standard episodes. The two bonus episodes will make more sense when the story reaches that point

I still don’t have a release date for Episode 1. However, since I’ve been making you guys wait for a while, I think you deserve a sneak peek. And this will show just how I’ll be rewriting season 2 of the reboot without straying too far from what I actually liked about it…

“Chicks, am I right?” Chase laughs off Emma’s outburst, expecting Bowie of all people to have his back.

“You’re never right,” Bowie doesn’t even turn to look at the guy he’s roasting. He walks right to Emma. “Soooo, how long have you two been apart? Seems more permanent than usual.”

Emma opens her eyes to look at Bowie for a split second. One quick glare later and she picks up the pace.

“Wha-” Bowie is gagged.

CONFESSIONAL STATIC

“No,” Emma curtly shakes her head, “I’m not ignoring Bowie because I love Chase still. I’m ignoring him because I don’t want to be allies again. If he’s fine with splitting up Priya and Millie so he could make a quick million, then what does that say about our ‘friendship,’ huh??” She clenches her fists. Of course she’s still upset at Bowie. Even if she knows that Chase was a horrible partner, the way Bowie went about keeping them apart didn’t exactly make Emma feel good. But she calms down, opens her fists, and brushes a lock of hair back behind her ear. “I am NOT risking that. This season, I have to ally with someone I can actually trust.”

remember that part in Ridonculous Race when Carrie is mad abt how Shelley treats Devin and goes “he deserves better than her. a rabid goat deserves better than her”?

yeah, they should create a similar scene in s2 of the td reboot involving Chase and Emma except it’s more introspective and Chase is like ‘she deserves better than me. heck, a rabid goat deserves better than me’ and chemma breaks up for real (idc who initiates it or if it’s mutual or whatever) and doesn’t get back together bc of his ego check-

maybe they have a sort of heart-to-heart too? as a treat?

Emma is desperate to leave and find her own freedom from the leash but chase is gripping her by the throat because he wants the collar. their needs are so conflicting with eachother but so interconnected that there is no way to separate them anymore. the parasite living in a body needs to sustain the host. they are both leeching off eachothers lives and doing anything to keep it going whilst trying to destroy their own. forever codependent but also like Sisyphus in nature of their futile work. they destroy themselves but rebuild with the shards of eachother. lady and the tramp if it was evil
