Some early cherry blossoms we spotted in Fukuoka. 🌸🥰 Cherry blossom season is probably the most popular time of year for visitors to Japan. The flowers typically bloom somewhere between late March and April, working their way up the country - but you’ll have to check the cherry blossom prediction map for the year you’re going to be sure. 🗾 Because yeah, that is a thing. The subtropical islands of Okinawa in the south see their Sakura blooming around mid-January, with the best viewing time around early February. The northern island of Hokkaido comes last, and the blooming usually begins around early May. If you’re planning to visit Japan in the spring, remember to time your destinations accordingly! 💕 Drop a 🌸 in the comments if you want to go cherry blossom viewing! ——————————————— - - - - - #sakuraseason #cherryblossomseason #cherryblossom #cherryblossomjapan #sakurablossom #hanamilovers #sakura2023 #cherryblossomsinjapan #cherryblossoms2023 #springinjapan #japantravelguide #visitjapan2023 (at Fukuoka City, Japan) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cpo8g_hpY5o/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Hi everyone!Spring has finally arrived and I hope everyone can enjoy it to the fullest even in these times! In Japan, there is one quintessential sign that spring has arrived: Sakura (also known as cherry blossoms). Even in Japan's biggest cities, you can enjoy the beautiful spring flowers but it's a whole other experience to view them in the mountains! That's why my Japanese boyfriend and I visited Mount Yoshino in Nara prefecture, one of the top Sakura viewing spots in Japan with over 1300 years of history! Let's get lost in a world of pink and white flower petals and I hope you'll enjoy it just as much as I and my Japanese family did! I hope you liked this video and if you did please give us a big thumbs up, leave a comment and kindly consider subscribing! See you next time!
