I’m both a local fiber grower/farmer and an artist. I have an increasing number of products I offer that meet the criteria of the local fiber shed. •fiber animals raised on my farm and a few local farms. •my shearer is local, and I’m the local labor for prep & finish work, even my soap is local. •my pattern designer & mill are local. •my fiber shed yarns and roving come in a number of colors based on the colors of the fiber animals, and not dyed. Most of my work is hand dyed not with natural colors, so please feel welcome to have me show you my fiber shed things. You’ll find Lisa of @flyinggoatfarm on the “Jolly January” tour. It’s Saturday, 01/14/23 from 11am till 4pm. Lisa is an amazing dye artist and fiber farmer! Her stop on the tour has her beautiful handdyed yarn, natural dyed yarn and farm yarn and fiber. As well as kits and patterns and even some really rare things like fiber pelts.
