"Lilac Vylette Maldonado is a community organizer and artivist who identifies as a nonbinary, queer, disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent Chicanx femme. Lilac uses the neutral pronouns they/them. They have been actively organizing since 2009 around many intersectional social justice issues such as disability justice, racial justice, gender justice, food justice, reproductive justice, LGBTQIA issues, and body positivity. They are an avid zinester who has written and created artwork for various academic- and social justice-themed DIY booklets. Lilac hopes to begin graduate school soon to pursue a career as a professor of history."
