day 6's familiar matching is elendal and his chipskink, theo. one of my very first dragons and then one of the first familiar matching i ever did! in lore he runs the traveler's den, a hotel in gem's rest, dragonhome, for dragons passing thought. so on site he just marks my sales tab (:

For Lore asks!

Does Margay have a specific kind of Familiar she tends to identify most strongly with/prefer the company of? (like how you can love both cats and dogs but be a cat person) Any she tends to have trouble getting along with despite her best efforts?

Does bumbler ever miss traveling? or are zir interests starting to reflect the more 'stationary' lifestyle that ze had to take on while recovering?

Margay's favorite category of familiars are probably Chipskinks. They're very active and charming, but still a manageable size and won't cause too much trouble. In general she likes familiars that are full of energy and always running around. They can be a hassle to wrangle, but they also have so much personality and a special charm to them. She is also good with the low energy ones, but she doesn't bond as easily with them.

The harder ones to work with are the slightly undead ones (see: the average Ghostlight Ruins familiar). They can hard to relate to, and some of them have to be kept away from other familiars so that they don't pass sicknesses between them, and they're just a lot of work. Margay does her best but many of those aren't friendly by nature. Some of the NOTN familiars too are in that category. However, while the more mischievous ones she can handle well, the ghostly familiars that tend to hold grudges can be a pain.

As for Bumbler - ze misses it from time to time, but ze is mostly fine living the sedentary life for now. Ze still accompanies other clan members when they have to visit a different area of the Reaches or go shopping into a city, ze just rarely travels for more than a couple weeks at a time. Ze's not old, but ze also isn't a Youth (TM) anymore so ze's a bit less restless than ze was before. There are moments when ze wonders where would ze be if ze hadn't gotten sick, but zir current's life is satisfying enough. It's not a given that ze'll stay where ze is forever, but for now it's enough for zir
