do you have any unpopular ice dance opinions? wasa or broader?

1) ice dance politics destroy the sport (nepo babies, powerful schools etc.)

2) the RD regulations are 💩 (Disco?!?! Ya'll need a younger strategy consultant)

3) chockbates should retire (evan bates looks TIRED, give mans a break)

4) some competitors should be banned (mistreatment/assault scandals - you know who you are)

Do you think any teams will retire after worlds 2020? I thought that weapo was gonna wait for worlds and retire, we all know how that turned out, and thought maybe chockbates too... but after those scores they’re getting not sure anymore

I think Chock/Bates have always been aiming for the Olympics. I don’t believe they would’ve made the move to Gadbois if they weren’t planning on a full quad.

I don’t think anybody is planning on retiring after Worlds this year. Not to say they won’t, you never know, but I don’t see it. The only team I could feasibly see going are Guignard/Fabbri, but I hope that’s not going to happen considering they’re one of the most skilled teams around right now.
