Dustin Lynch - Blue In The Sky

So today on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would like to talk about the latest album from rising Country Music Superstar Dustin Lynch. This was a surprize album released on Friday February 11th, 2022 and titled "Blue in the sky". But before we dive into the 12 track album, let's first talk a little bit of the career of Dustin Lynch.

This will be the 5th studio album release from Dustin Lynch in 10 years. Some of his biggest hits include songs like "Small town boy", "Cowboys & Angels", & "Ridin' roads". And he has success as of late on my weekly Country Music Song Countdown. He has scored 4 number ones on my weekly list MSR (Midnight Star Report), which combines CMT (Country Music Television), the Billboard Country Music Airplay Charts, & even myself. He has also earned his first Artist of the year last year, and he is well on his way for his second in a row. Back to the songs on this new cd.

Dustin co-wrote 5 out of 12 tracks on the new project. But he did get help from fellow Artists of the year Thomas Rhett, & Jameson Rodgers. His current single is "Party mode" which is really new to the airplay charts right now. His massive hit "Thinking 'bout you" featuring MacKenzie Porter which originally featured Lauren Alaina on his "Tullahoma" album. Other singles you should check out are "Stars like confetti", "Tequila on a boat" which features Chris Lane, & "Huntin' land" which features Riley Green". The 2 stand out tracks from this new album are "Summer never ended", & "Not every cowboy". Here is the rest of the track list up next.

And that's a wrap for the track list. And on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would give this album a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Not really a fan of surprise albums, and I think Dustin usually gives us a few more songs on his new albums. But he is well on the way to his second artist of the year in a row. The Tampa Improv presents Craig Robinson today, Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24. Beginning as a stand-up comedian in Chicago, Robinson first made his mark in the comedy circuit at the 1998 Montreal “Just for Laughs” Festival. Craig is best known for his portrayal of Daryl Philban in NBC’s The Office but has also starred in such movies as Knocked Up, This Is The End, The Hot Tub Time Machine series, and Morris From America, the latter of which he won a Special Grand Jury prize for acting at Sundance in 2016.
