Here’s the fics I read (and like) during this past month ! (friendly reminder I read almost only Explicit or Mature fics) (* are my fav)

☾  *The Payoff Pitch , by   Leslie_Knope  : Derek is on the cusp of his second season with the LA Dodgers, and as the reigning runner-up Rookie of the Year, the pressure’s on him to become the team’s star pitcher and lead them to the playoffs for the first time in five years. He’s trying to deal with the burden of expectations and really has zero desire to spend any extra time or energy on anything that isn’t baseball.But then he meets Stiles. (83k, E)

Isaac suggested, and the two older werewolves looked at him. "His dad doesn't know," Peter warned, and Derek looked at Stiles who seemed to have fallen into tormented sleep. ☾   * our lives are changing lanes , by grimm : There's a lot of screaming going on inside the first house Stiles visits. He isn't really worried, because it sounds like kids, but then the door opens and hi, says his dick, because the dude in front of him is gorgeous, built like a god with a face like thunder. Stiles wants to lick that solid jaw line. Hold the fuck on, says his cop brain, because the dude's got kids hanging all over him; one's on his back, skinny legs looped around his waist, and another two hanging off one arm, toes barely brushing the ground. There's a tubby toddler clinging to his leg like a koala, and he's got a baby tucked into the crook of the one arm that doesn’t have kids hanging off it. Stiles' mouth drops open."How many of those kids did you kidnap?" he asks before he can wrangle his brain into submission.The man gives him a look that says what the fuck is wrong with you and snaps, "You think I'd subject myself to this on purpose?""Oooh," says one of the kids hanging off his arm. ☾   Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon , by  secondstar  : Being a teenager sucks. Being a werewolf teenager sucks even more. With a life full of holding back who he really is, not having any privacy whatsoever, and the seemingly sudden appearance of one Stiles Stilinski, Derek Hale's life just got a whole lot harder. ☾  * Fixer Upper,  by Arsenic : After the events of 5a, Stiles is estranged from Scott--and by association, the pack.  Derek is off finding himself, or, at least, Germany and some other places.  There's a lot of texting and post cards and then Derek comes back to find Stiles missing.  Worse, nobody seems to remember Stiles existing. ☾   tide pulls from the moon,  by  paintedrecs  :   When Derek left Beacon Hills, finally ripping the tether free and remembering how to breathe, how to live again, it was Stiles who came after him. Stiles, who showed up at his door with blazing eyes, looking like he wanted to punch him in the face, but wrapping his arms around him instead, making him grunt in surprise at the raw strength of his embrace. “You asshole,” Stiles said, slapping him heartily on the back as he extricated himself, his voice rough under his bright smile. “You couldn’t have made yourself harder to find, could you?” (45k, M)

☾   Survival of the Species ,  by   Lissadiane  :  In which Derek's pack is apparently stable enough to begin planning for the future, and somehow, the universe has decided Stiles is the perfect candidate to bear his alpha's children.  (20k, E)

☾   a mountain to climb, by grimm : "Don’t do it,” he mutters. “Don’t do it, please, don’t do it.”But there it is, a soft pink line appearing right next to the control. Stiles’ legs give out from under him; he sinks to the bathroom floor, hands shaking, his entire body shaking. It’s hard to breathe, his vision blurring around the edges. There’s a knock on the door behind him and then it opens and Scott sits down next to him.“I’m fucked,” Stiles gasps, tears prickling at his eyes. “I’m fucked!" (126k, E)

☾  (Spirit) animal nature,  by   Nival_Vixen   : Everyone has spirit animals that help determine their nature, and nearly everyone finds the physical manifestation of those animals as well. Stiles has a peacock and an octopus - so obviously, he's never going to find his spirit animals, and his nature sucks. (8k, M)

He wants a full stomach and no pain clinging to his bones, no ache in his feet from months of running. He wants a shower, a safe place to put his head. He wants his family, the healing comfort of pack. He'll never have any of that again. (105k, E)

☾ The Course of True Love Never Did Run Smooth      by    hazelNts : Derek loves being an actor. He gets to meet and work with a lot of amazing people. So when he lands a job that has him working with Stiles Stilinski, his celebrity crush, he’s a little scared, but mostly excited. Especially when he and Stiles really hit it off, at first… (5k, M)

☾  a latte problems can be caused when you cannot espresso yourself      by HaleHole (SweetFanfics)   : Highschool/Coffee shop AU where nerd!Derek is crushing hard on rich!stiles but neither of them have the courage to act on their feelings. It’s a good thing Lydia and Jackson are there to give the pair a necessary push. (9k, E)

☾  When I'm Gone   *   by  MissYuki1990  : Stiles is leaving. For good if he has any say in it. He gave everything to them and received nothing in return, so who can blame him for wanting to leave and find his place in the world. Apparently? Everyone and their uncle. (108k, E)

☾   Dragon's Breath  by trilliath : Between the hunters and the monsters that have interfered with life in Beacon Hills, the pack has had to learn a lot in the last few years, including Stiles teaching himself to practice magic in private. It's not exactly a secret from the pack, but it's not something he's shown much. When it comes time to put his skills to the test, Derek is the only one who finally gets to see Stiles's wild magic put to use saving Erica's life from a new threat in town. The aftermath changes something between them, and those tenuous lines tangling them together may mean the difference between life and death for them both.  (56k, E)

After his first makeout session ended in death, he left Beacon Hills to try and understand what he was and protect the people he cared about. But being his father's son, in name if not by birth, he's never been able to accept the idea of killing innocent humans to feed himself. So in order to survive and keep his morals both, he travels across the country feeding on sexual predators. Derek is a NYC werewolf cop, who dedicates his life to protecting and serving both the human and fae communities - protecting them from each other if necessary. When a string of succubus or incubus kills starts hitting his city, and Derek runs into Stiles at a crime scene, Derek wants to find a way to help this neophyte fae survive under the radar before someone else puts him down. Too bad Stiles seems to run away whenever Derek gets near him. (92k, E)

He's in college now or maybe even post college, and this is their first time interacting since Derek left Beacon Hills.
