En lugar de las sillas y las mesas, prefería la tierra, los árboles y las cuevas, pues sentía que en aquellos lugares podía apoyarme contra la mejilla de Dios. it’s the simple things!!! the pic is blurry, my apologies, but what a fantastic day! i attended the teacher professional development session at my research site and headed home to spend some quality time with my parents as my dad is recovering from some coronary artery surgery with a very lucky prognosis. whew! 🙏🏽 there’s also a snow storm 🌨☃️ headed towards chicago and i get super excited when the universe forces me to hibernate for a few days, so i decided to treat my self a bit. i stopped on my way home for some high vibrational roses 🌹💐🌹to keep my spirits up through the storm, and earlier this week i had ordered a book by my new favorite author, clarissa pinkola estés, to read over the three day weekend as a respite from all the work i have piling up around me. 📚📖💻 when i arrived at my parent’s house and opened the used copy i had ordered off amazon for a third of the price of a new copy (which is my normal routine), i opened the book to see what appears to be the author’s signature!!! i can’t be certain, i’ll see if i can find a way to try and confirm that, but was so tickled and pleased by the idea, i hardly care.🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 so...some roses, some rose quartz, and an unexpected, surprise nod from the universe made my day! ❤️💛💚🖤 hope everyone has a lovely weekend! i’ll be reading the faithful gardener along with some mlk jr speeches to keep my self grounded and rooted in love, activism, and connection. #clarissapinkolaestés #thefaithfulgardener #snowstorms #happyfriday #vibeup #itsthesimplethings #signsandsynchronicities #keepitsimple #roses #rosequartz #onelove #trustyourintuition #dopesoul #believeinyourself (at La Grange, Illinois) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bsy8gm2hesjOliUJVI0fyR9vG4MORRtGLZYGpM0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=vkmmllddbilr

Sempre considerei que as reuniões informais em que se toma café e se conversa eram um remanescente de algum antigo rito feminino de reunião, um ritual de conversa íntima, mulheres falando com suas entranhas, dizendo a verdade, rindo (e gargalhando) até parecerem bobas, revigoradas, de volta ao lar, sentindo tudo melhor. 🌻 Às vezes é difícil conseguir que os homens se afastem para que as mulheres possam ficar a sós. 🌻 Só sei que antigamente as mulheres estimulavam os homens a fazer uma "excursão de pesca". 🌻 Trata-se de um ardil (manha) usado pelas mulheres desde tempos imemoriais com o objetivo de fazer com que os homens saíssem por algum tempo a fim de que elas pudessem ficar sozinhas ou só com outras mulheres. 🌻 As mulheres desejam estar numa atmosfera exclusivamente feminina de quando em quando, quer sós quer com outras. 🌻 Trata-se de um ciclo feminino natural. 🌻 A energia masculina é agradável.
