Your fellow human being was honored Thursday night. We were nominated by Tajh @afrocenchick and then recognized by our peers. This award gives us pause. It has us review our life and those moments when we were at critical breaking points unclear as to ever fulfilling our life mission. We made a soul promise stepping back into this world, but the promise felt elusive, slipping thru the cracks of our fingers, forever a confusing mystery. We are happy the confusion has cleared. We are thankful for ever tear and for every obstacle they have strengthened our capacity. We look forward to this next year of growth as our birthday soon approaches. #teenstakethemet was a success! Yay!! We had students develop their own poems affirming themselves. Which we never do enough of! It’s so fascinating engaging with people during their process and seeing how we can get stuck in “perfectionism” and “comparisons” but it was good to see so many of them work through their fears and hesitation. This is the moment. The face of our greatest fear.
