In between my recent fabric dyeing with indigo I still find time to sew. This skirt pattern is by @lamiaboutiqueitalia in which I have made some adjustments due to lack of fabric. The contrasting trim is also inspired by the original pattern. Just made this Rosalie dress recently from a fibre mood pattern magazine. My first pattern from them and it’s straight forward and easy to sew. Took me about under 4 hours in all from drafting to finished ready to wear garment. Been dressmaking at the moment. I just love the old burda ‘world of fashion’ patterns that has so much less patterns on it = it just makes so much easier to trace. I supppse it’s all down to cost of production at the end of the day in this competitive market. I am trying to hack/ adjust patterns to fit the design I have in mind.
