For Amateur club photographers

If you’re a photographer that takes pictures and videos at clubs, bars and parties.

Here’s what you can do. Whenever you take pictures, ask them for permission. Show them the pictures and let them choose which one they feel comfortable being posted.

Also as a promoter, try to exchange each other’s social media info whenever taking pictures of performers and new people you meet. That way when they’re tagged, they can find and see where it’s being posted. As well as having a way to contact you to take them down if they change their mind. This will give you more friends on your page as well as a bigger reach of more people viewing the different parties you’re promoting.

Doing this can also be beneficial for the performer. When tagging them and linking their professional site to each picture and video, it’s essentially giving them free exposure.

Doing this would most likely make them comfortable with you posting pictures and videos of them.

And if they refuse, then don’t post them.

Also it forces you to be more sociable when approaching new people. New friends you can share memories with.

Sidenote: if you haven’t yet, start a Instagram and TikTok page to gain more followers for your party promoting.
