We stripped the original finish, repaired the damage, powder coated a Thundercloud color, CNC machined the lip for an accent, and then finished the entire wheel off in a clear powder top coat. Ultra Work & Play Toy Hauler set customized to match the color scheme. We stripped the wheels down to the bare substrate and washed them in our phosphate pre-treatment station. They got a base coat of Super Chrome before a top coat of Candy Blue. We re-cut the faces in our CNC lathe before sealing the project with a clear top coat. Have a project idea? Mercedes Benz E350 AMG set in for reconditioning back to OEM. I missed the "before repairs" photo, but did get a shot of them stripped down and ready for their chemical bath before putting fresh powder in the pockets. After the pocket color is heat cured, these wheels go into our CNC lathe for the machined face refinishing, then they received a clear powder top coat. This set went back to OEM, but we can coat the pockets any custom color to modify your stock wheel into something special.
