Hair luv to draw + wip

I like to think that in Purple’s hair is a combination of both his mom and ex-dad. He got the base of the hair from his mama (when she had short hair)

I can’t tell if his wavy hair can be from Orchid or Navy

tho I think it’s leaning on Nav because Orchid always puts her hair to a braid. Purple has curls in it.

So i was wondering about like stick genetics ig? LOL, basically what i mean is how are colors of two sticks mixed when making a baby stick using purple as an example and basically:

Purple's color (#980098) is Pink's color with Cobalt's color on top with the luminosity blending mode. (I used cobalts color from the pic on the fandom wiki (#003aff) and pinks as well originally but i changed it slighlty (#ff66ff) so that it would make exactly purps color by the code)

And you cant get purples color by just mixing their parents color:

So yeah.

Basically i wanted to find out what color Gold's other paernt would be.

Ik ppl have ocs of golds mother, and the ones ive seen are great! But i wanted to make one as well and i was just wondering.

But basically i think (or hc ig) that there might be a few ways in which a color can be genetically passed down in sticks, specifically using blending modes!

(which ik blending modes is just running calculations on the color values but theyre still basically magic to me)

I do think it also might be done by mixing colors tho

So i found out what color to mix with MTs to make golds (#d39600 i think its also from the wiki image? Not sure lmao)

The color is #dac600 and the ratio between this color and MTs is 50/50. It could be different but i was basically calculating it by hand and i wont bother doing it again rn (i was tying to run a python code i found on stack overfllow (sb was asking abput this exact thing) in an online interpreter but there was no output and idk why (i did make it print instead of return) and maybe ill try diff ratios when i get home and like change the code into a language i actually know the syntax of well lol idk)

But yeah maybe ill try diff ratios coz idk but yeah
